This is hard for me to do as my experience at the salon was above and beyond. My grievance is with the owner, Ashley Hamble Pederson. It took 2 emails over a couple weeks and a phone call to the salon where they informed me that bridal hair and makeup is only scheduled through Ashley via email. Ashley immediately emailed after I made the phone call. My quote was for makeup and curled hair on June 30 and bridal makeup and an updo on July 1. I was concerned about July 1 as my wedding was very casual and I may only want makeup and curled hair for both days. I expressed this concern to Ashley as I had to make the payment in full. I asked if I made changes day of, could receive a refund? Ashley replied, “Yes for sure! Bridal makeup is done a little different for photographs, etc! But we want you to be comfortable and like what you see! So let’s stay in touch for sure!” After my appointment, the stylist and front desk were confused that I had already paid in full, but I did as the email stated, “with final payment coming due 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.” I did decide to make the change and it is a $195 price difference. I sent emails of the change on July 6, September 6, October 23, November 17, and March 5. I did call on March 8 despite being told bridal hair and makeup was only done through Ashley via email. I would not use Just Cuz Beauty for their bridal services. Their management and communication is lacking in every way.

I made an appointment, signed, and paid the invoice back in May to use thier services for my wedding in August. Having not heard from the salon about the time of my appointment, I called and the receptionist could not find me on the schedule. I even gave him the invoice number. The only solution he gave was to email the manager. I left voicemails, emails, and even a message on the Knot with no response from the manager. After requesting a refund, the manager finally responsed back. She didn't call or email, she message me on the Knot... Unprofessional. She said she would refund me, but she failed to do that as well. I had to dispute it with Paypal.

Thankfully, I found a new salon after scrambing, but I also realized Just Cuz Beauty charges are ridiculous high. Most salons charge half of their prices.

This place is by far the best place I have went to in the entire area to get my hair done. I’ve been to a lot of different salons over the years and this one is so amazing in every aspect. The environment there is amazing and is SO gorgeous inside the salon. There’s so many different stylists there that do different things, and being there is truly such a unique and pampering experience. I saw Maria for a partial highlight and she got me so light and bright I literally thought she gave me the full highlight! I love being blonde and this place got me there so easily and for a way cheaper price then anywhere else I have been to. Just the best place to go for any sort of blonding in general.
