The Good Egg — Restaurant in Stillwater

BEST EGG SANDWICH EVER! I've been to stillwater multiple times abd passed this truck everytime. Finally tried it today, and so glad I did. I made my day around walking the loop and finishing off here for lunch. I got the 'the gardener'. It had arugala, tomato,avocado, some type of aioli and i believe havarti cheese and added the recommended caramelized onions. I washed it down with an iced, cold bottle of coke a cola. SOOOO delicious; super fresh tasting ingredients. And it's on sour dough that's been slightly toasted and buttered. I will warn you that the egg is SUNNY SIDE UP, so a bit messy; I love sunny side up, so not complaints, just wasent expecting that. Im pretty sure they would fully cook it if you asked. Can't belive it took until NOW to try it, but definitely will be coming back to try...

food comes out fast and hot and SUPER delicious!! the bodega with bacon is perfect and I practically inhaled it. The guy working the counter was nice & really good about communicating wait times with people, especially since it was a lot of families/big groups in line. I haven't been here before but I got in line on a sunday around brunch time (and father's day no less) and it was about a 20-30 minute wait just to order-- I'm assuming that's not the norm, but even if it was, it's totally worth it. Grab a beer from River Siren while you wait. Downtown Stillwater doesn't have a lot of takeaway food options so this definitely fills a need and I will be returning!! Thanks...

Wow….just wow… I ate here on the morning of my wedding, hands down one of the top three sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. I got the lumberjack, the portion was huge, the sandwich had so much flavor…the garlic aioli was a perfect mix in all of it too! I opted to add avocado as well. A damn good sandwich..just writing this is making me crave another one! The owner was excellent to chat with and we shared good stories while he prepped my sandwich. Also noteworthy all the ingredients are local, good quality fare. No nasty ingredients that leave you feeling sluggish and bloated all day. 10/10 will eat here again and I recommend it to anyone! Keep up...
