Normally I like coming through the drive thru at this location, but not today. My plans to go to Houston changed so I decided to turn around and head home. I decided to get a drink here to pass the time as I sat in traffic since I had received an email from Starbucks for a happy hour 50 percent off any handcrafted expresso beverage invitation valid from 3 pm till midnight that day. I told the lady who took my order at the drive thru about my offer and she said I could definitely use it and she even helped me pick out a beverage that is part of the offer that I received three times over a week in my email from Starbucks. Then as I got to the drive thru window a guy working there refuses to honor my email invitation. My email was specifically sent to me three times over the week and it stated that I just had to show it to the person that worked there. Well he wouldn't accept it saying I had to be a member. I checked all three emails when I got home and it clearly states only to show the employee the email and that's it. It mentions nothing about a membership. He could of just done the right thing and gave me my drink for 50 percent off and he refused to honor my invitation. I've spent a lot of money at that Starbucks and now I won't go back. I already stoppped buying their coffee for my home months ago and even had to throw away a brand new bag of their French Roast flavored ground coffee because it tasted so burnt. Now I threw away money again today as I only ordered that drink to not let my offer go to waste and it wasn't even a drink I care for. I will not be back and I see this as a sign to not deal with Starbucks period anymore. Read moreI had 20 minutes to spare during lunch and just 6 minutes away from my job so I decided to stop for some coffee. There was only one person in line so I assumed it was going to be quick . Unfortunately the person that was in line was the baristas friend and they were NON stop talking. She finally came to get our order and had a serious face as if I was disturbing her and after again she went back to talking to her friend. We had two drinks and waited 17 minutes for it! Besides coming back late for work both of the drinks she made weren’t made correctly ! Very bitter! Both drinks were bitter and not sweet like they are supposed to be ( mind you I buy this same drink 3-4 times a month) .
Mrs. Louisa was unprofessional... If she can’t multi task and make coffee while talking to her friend then she should ask her friend to give her a quick minute and attend the customers.

I knew she didn't hear my order right because i could tell she hates her job and not in a mood to do it well. So i repeated my order nicely to which she responded. "you said mocha". I repeated my order nicely and told her it's white mocha which she insisted again twice that i didn't tell her that. I get Starbucks everyday and very rarely ever post reviews but I had to warn people about my experience at this location because nobody should pay $5 for a small cup of coffee to get this kind of worst...
