It's become an annual ritual to try out the sehri (early breakfast) menu at karachi restaurant. They have plenty seating space and serve delicious hearty meals. The decor is nostalgic truck art from Karachi with witty and amusing phrases.Their wall on the right is covered with menu items so don't be surprised, if you turn around from placing an order and realize something on the wall that you couldn't find in their menu. I tried their malpura malai. This desi version of pancake was crispy on one side and doughy on the other. it's served with malai(clotted cream) which was close to rabri in texture and taste. The keema was rich and I kept going between malpura and keema wrapped in lacha paratha. the fattiness from the keema (minced beef) is cleansed by the crispy sweet bite from the malpura. Probably committed a crime by mixing the savory with sweet..but it works! The chenak chai.. is full body hit of caffeine that had me swooning for more. the chenak pot serves roughly 4-5 cups (3 if you are a big gulper) . Overall, I'd call this place the desi cheesecake factory (Sans cheesecake) based on the massive menu. Do check on what's available for the day.

I recently attended their Eid-Ul-Fitr Buffet Dinner priced at $27+tax per person. The food was decent overall, with the chicken Karahi and Goat Biriyani being highlights. However, the Chinese dishes lacked salt and spice.

Me and Friend have visited on 05/09/2025, We saw the menu and ordered for Haleem, In the menu they did not mention with what it is made up of? since they did not mention specifically, we assumed that it's regular one. I ate a little bit, I felt something is different and immediately asked the owner. He said, that it is made up of Beef. I shocked and guilty, I don't eat Beef. Definitely they have to mention in the menu. Food (in the bracket raw material), so that costumers can aware of themselves what to choose, Am I right? It's my genuine question, It's look like a small thing to few members, but it's a big sensitive thing to millions of people mainly who do not eat beef. And they may sue a case on their lapses. I am attaching a menu picture please refer it? I am not commenting on their service and quality. My point is why they are NOT giving respect to the customers religions emotions.?

By far the best Pakistani restaurant we've been to. Full authentic Pakistani food. No overly heavy masala or oils. Just delicious food

Samosas- Karachi style (thin and crispy). Had both chicken and beef. Delicious, especially with the chutney. Were served steaming hot and fresh

Peri Peri wings- crispy outside and juicy inside, with a fantastic seasoning/marinade.

Nihari- simply amazing in every way. Best restaurant nihari I've had.

Chicken Tikka (leg and breast)- juicy, smokey/charcoal tasting, with an amazing marinade. Tasted like it was properly marinated with lemon. Amazing!

Malai boti- juicy, soft, excellent type of seasoning

Bihari kabob/seekh kabob/gola kabob- Every single kabob was Delicious and also unique. Excellent with the raita

Naan and garlic naan- full authentic Karachi style naan. Crispy bottom, light and airy inside. Fluffy and delicious. Best naan I've had

Falooda (had karachi, rose, and pishawari)- best falooda we've had. Lots of jelly, nuts, delicious ice cream, chia seeds, and sweet vermicelli.

Gur chai- piping hot and delicious. Had it on a cold evening and it was a delicious way to end the night

Service is amazing and the entire place is very clean and tidy with a really nice karachi inspired decor!

Frankly there's not going to be a reason for us to even bother going to other Pakistani restaurants because the quality between Karachi Restaurant and others is worlds apart.

Definitely check them out if you're in the area or even take a long drive...

2 stars for the effort put in, or else it was a waste of $350 ( 3 families) for the Fish Special on Sunday. Rude service from one of elder gentleman ( black shirt and gray hair 10/15/23 7:40pm) he talks to clients very rudely, it could be a language barrier but we noticed he had a temper when we asked to clarify what was said.

Price is very steep, but that shouldn’t matter if the food is good.

Grilled shrimp and Grill fish were way over cooked!, my advise would be to invest $10 on a meat probe and teach the cooks when to pull the meat off the charcoal. Grilled Shrimp and fish were SUPER DRY. Fried fish was OK, lacked flavor. Nothing like what is served in Karachi.

Roti was HARD when cooled down ( get your dough and kneading skills up guys)

Daal also lacked flavor. Something you would find at a Government hospital in Pakistan or Prison - super watery, shy on salt.

The rice was decent!

Did I mention the rude service from the elder gentleman?

Two stars for the ambience of outdoor seating and open grill and frying, cool nice place to chill with the fam and friends.

My suggestion would be to use proper charcoal using cheap industrial bags of kingsford fuel for your grilled heatsource will give you lack luster flavor, use actual lump wood charcoal, and learn to use the grill. You can’t just put a person over a grill and have them set it on the flame and serve people food! Use the tool for success ( temp probe)

The owner seemed to be a very nice lady who seems like she runs a tight ship, but her...
