Hobby Lobby — Local services in Temecula

I would give zero stars if it would let me. The staff is lazy & management acts like they fart glitter. Rude, takes forever at check out. Everything is by hand so slow. Went in for 1 thing on a Tues at 11 asked the manager where the ladies room was & she said "is it an emergency?" Are you kidding me? She rolled her eyes & said in the back. I then proceeded to ask where the glue sticks might be so I could find it quickly since I was in a rush, she didn't even know, "I don't know actually what do you need again?" Um glue sticks, is there any way you can show me the way? Her response was do we look like a grocery store I'm not going to walk you all the way over there its probably toward the back. A Hispanic manager & she did it to 2 other people while I was standing there. So she lifts up her right hand like as lazy as possible and just points to like 4 different directions. I even considered I was on a prank show!Just literally ignorant lazy staff that just wings it all day. This lead should be selling bracelets on the side of the road that's about how smart she came across to all of us customers that morning. After about 15 minutes I get back up to the register the line is as long as Disneyland lines, there was a sweet pregnant woman in front of me with a 2 year old the same manager was Hispanic came up to her and asked her if she could quiet her daughter down it's just rough and it's disrupting other customers. The woman in back of me said excuse me you obviously are not a mother if you were you would have some compassion and some class inside of you to not be so rude. The manager quickly interrupted her saying ma'am I'm speaking to this mother not to you if you have a problem you can go to corporate, about 15 of us were in line and I was probably number 12 I was quiet but I could not hold back she asked the lady again if she could maybe take her daughter out of her carriage and hold her so she could stop making other people feel uncomfortable with the noise of her crying, I said that's it who Do You Think You Are? I cannot believe that this place is even closed on Sunday why would you be closed on Sunday if you are not religious because there's no way in hell that this is a Christian company if they hired you!!! She said simply go on our website and make it complaint and I said is there any way that there might be another line or express lane for this mother to get through quicker or me with one item? She said ma'am please don't ask questions that you already know the answer to. do we look like Wal-Mart? So 6 people in back of me & 3 three people in front of me through their stuff on the counter. & we all walked out! The manager was rude and lazy disrespectful she looked like she was hungover and completely unprofessional. I have not been back to that place since & I'm an elementary school teacher for Temecula I spread the word at my elementary school in Temecula and not 1 of our staff @school will ever step foot in this place again. You might as well open your doors on Sunday that's if people will actually come in and purchase things from such a rude facility and business. Per all over restroom stalls, no toilet paper or soap, broken glass all over the store nobody cleans things up and everybody is clueless. One last thing to corporate, my biggest regret to this day is that I could not get her name because she had NO tag & all six people in front of me said what is her name? She had a shirt on that said Hobby Lobby only. I work at a five-star distinguish School word spreads fast Michaels and Jo-Ann's are ten times the business of Hobby Lobby!!! I came into the Temecula location after years of having not shopped inside a Hobby Lobby....I was excited to shop for fall decor. I spent a hour inside the store and had my cart full of over $200 worth of merchandise. I went to pay with Apple Pay and was told they don't accept Apple Pay 🙄I am constantly changing out my purse every day so I never carry my cards on me. Every place I shop at accepts Apple Pay. I have two homes and all my cards were at my San Diego home so I had to wait for my husband to come home from golfing. The cashier that rang me Up told me they were open until 8pm. We arrived back at 7:30pm and found a few other items to add to our purchase. We waited in line to pay and I presented my "receipt " from my previous purchase that I needed to pay for and the cashier paged a manager to come up to checkout. Meanwhile, I looked inside the carts in the front of the store only to discover they were full of trash. The cashier informed me they typically put all held items back on the shelves by 7pm. I told her the cashier I had earlier never told me that and only told me they closed at 8pm. Needless to say I am VERY unhappy with the management and customer service at Hobby Lobby. So last night my friend and I decided to stop by Hobby Lobby. My friend went his way and I went my way in the store and as I walked up to the front of the store a VERY RUDE employee (not sure of her position) walked up to me and demanded my basket from me along with the items I was walking up to purchase. I asked what her problem was and I guess my friend was caught shoplifting so again let me repeat my friend got caught shoplifting NOT ME. I'm not condoning his actions nor am I talking about how they handled him but I am talking about how this employee who demanded my basket treated me as if I had committed a crime. I didn't realize Hobby Lobby treated there customers in this manner because I was not shoplifting but she treated me as if I did or basically stereotyped me cuz of the way I look because I had nothing to do with what my friend had done nor was I anywhere near him when he shoplifter but Hobby Lobby treated me as if I had committed a crime and its absolutely ridiculous that Hobby Lobby treated me in this manner. Hobby Lobby was one of my favorite stores to shop at but I will never buy anything from there again because it's ridiculous that Hobby Lobby allows there employees treat customers with such a disrespect!
