My experience started off great but is turning into a disaster. I warn everyone wanting to rent from these people⊠DO NOT! My dresser I purchased came to me broken. I was supposed to receive a âcreditâ for the broken dresser⊠that never happened. đ RAC attempted to âfixâ the broken piece but it looks horrible. They also told me the mattress I was getting was top-of-the-line, itâs the most uncomfortable and cheapest mattress possible. If you are late for your payment, even less than 24 hours, they will start to harass you. They come to your Home, harass anyone who dares to open a door. They give out personal information to people NOT on your contract. They call you a liar, they insist they will come back to âconfrontâ whomever is at the house. When you make an arrangements for them to pick up the furniture, they will not work with you whatsoever. It has to be on their time and it has to be immediate so if youâre out of town or youâre at work, sorry about your bad luck they will get into your house the other. They send COUNTLESS text messages for reminders of payment and all kinds of other ridiculous ads that you Keep clicking âjunkâ BUT THEY DONâT EVER RESPOND TO ANY OF YOUR INQUIRIES. They canât help you get into the portal, They are extremely demanding and I had the unfortunate experience this last time dealing with âRoseâ the store manger. She was very nasty on the phone and ended up hanging up on me after demanding payment or return of items. Informed her I had no issues with paying or returning the items, but that wasnât good enough for her and she said she was heading over to confront whoever answered the door after I told her she was harassing the person who answered the door. I understand they need their payment or their items, but if youâre not in town or youâre at work, and have no way to get the items to them, but attempt to set up a date where they can come get the items, itâs not good enough, they will literally show up at your door and Ring until they get what they want. I went above Rose and spoke to Jeff, who wasnât much help and wasnât very kind or understanding. He really didnât want to help and he didnât want to take my complaint. So my fault for dealing with a company that is shady to say the least. I do not recommend them, they are rude and nasty, and they lie specifically rose.    Read moreFinally after months of waiting, we got our washer and dryer!! Our washer and dryer that we got from another rent a center many years ago, has been broken for so many months that weâve had to go to the laundromat. I had to explain to my husband that it costs about $50-$100 to wash and dry every week (we are a family of 6) and that we needed to get new ones. I looked online and found an LG washer and dryer from the rent a center website that I liked as weâve had whirlpool and wanted to try something else. We were first told that it could be awhile as they arenât getting washers and dryers and theyâll keep asking. A few months go by as we were aware that it might take awhile and my husband speaks to Reina, who introduced herself as the new manager and asks about our recent purchase of our couch and she asks if thereâs anything she can do to help. My husband mentions the need for a washer and dryer and how weâve been trying to get one. She sent us emails about what washers and dryers they have and she sent the exact one I wanted. She made sure to call us and she made it happen. Reina made sure to contact us to let us know what was going on from the start, which is something I truly appreciate. I think I was asking my husband every single week if there were updates and he always had updates. We werenât kept in the dark. Friday afternoon, we got a call from Reina that our washer and dryer were delivered and to my surprise, she would have it delivered that same evening. That made our day, our weekend. When my husband came home from work and told me we finally got our washer and dryer, I jumped for joy, literally. I was like a kid in a candy store excited and happy. When youâre spending two hours at the laundromat to wash and dry twice a week, having to make sure you didnât lose a sock or leave some clothes in a washer that is going to be used by someone else, it really makes you value having a washer and dryer at home.    Read moreWent in last weekend to rent a washer and dryer since our new home didn't have them yet. Was told at the store they were going to be delivered the upcoming Tuesday (today). Went home and took it upon myself to schedule other service installations needed in our home for Wednesday and Thursday since I was expecting the delivery of the washer and dryer Tuesday (today). I waited all day for a washer and dryer that never arrived. I called them at about 4:45 to check the status of our delivery, and was told we were scheduled for Wednesday. Now I know my husband AND I BOTH didn't mishear the date we were both told at the same time. I tried my best to handle the situation and figure out a solution with the associate I spoke with on the phone... But because this is the 3rd location we've had some problem or another with... My husband's fed up button has been pressed, and it took 20 minutes of his screaming through the phone from 15 feet away for the lady to finally say she would send the guys out to deliver the washer and dryer when they got back to the store from their route. I don't blame him... I can count on two hands the number of issues we've experienced with rent a center. Thought 3rd location would be the charm to prove to us not all rent a center locations are a chaotic mess and that maybe it was just an issue with Arizona locations. Our products aren't even delivered yet, and I'm already being proven wrong on my optimism. After this washer and dryer, we are never doing business with any rent a center in any state ever again.
