So we came to get a rental car yesterday and noticed this place. My husband says babe lets try this place! We love to try new places and huge foodies!
Here we are today! We walked in and they have a few booths and tables that can seat a big party. They have a TV with no sound and no music so it was quiet. I would like some type of music but no big deal. Wallking in we were greeted by an awesome server by the name of David. He sat us down and we asked him to please explain how it works, since it was our first time here. He explained to us to pick a broth Spicy or Reg. He said then you pick the meat chicken, lamb, pork, angus beef and brisket. Its ALL you can eat! He also said help yourself to can drinks there is no limit. They also have icecream. Now my mother inlaw didnt feel like having the hot pot soup. She ordered beef noodle soup with all you can eat noodles. Once we ordered we got up and got the items to add into your soup. There was fish, spam, shrimp, scallops, clams, quail eggs, tofu, different noodles, veggies and sauces. As we waited David brought us water and brought our individual hot pots! I loved that because you can make the soup your own way, that was a HUGE PLUS! The best part for me was that soup remained boiling hot the whole time! David explained to us that as soon as we see it steaming through the little hole in the hot pot to uncover it so the lid dont get too hot or boils over. We were very appreciative that he explained that to us because we would have kept it on the whole time. Then when he brought out the meat he explained to us to cook the chicken and pork a little longer. So we started by putting the noodles and all the sides in the hot pot then the meat!. I was super excited to try it! Now the taste of the soup was so delicious ever so flavorful! Everything was so delicious we were not disappointed whatsoever! David kept feeding up our broth! It was awesome! We finally had to tell him we are done and he asks are you sure you dont want a little more. Loved it! He is an amazing waiter and hope he stays there. I originally thought it was a family ran business and he said he is just an employee and the owner was in the kitchen. I saw him briefly and was really nice. I was taking pictures and told him it was for a good yelp review and he kept saying thank you! We will definitely be regulars at this place especially during the winter.
They have been open since March and I wish them nothing but luck! You will not be disappointed I...
Read moreFinally! A new all-you-can-eat hot pot buffet restaurant in Temecula-Murrieta area. It is like a Shabu-Shabu style where you swish the thinly sliced meat in the hot pot and dip them into your sauce. We usually go to Mira Mesa or San Marcos to enjoy the AYCE hot pot and and was happy to have a new one in Temecula which is much closer.
They serve hot pot all day, every day, not just for dinner so you get to enjoy it during lunch time. They are not stingy with meat. They have a lot of veggies, seafood, noodles, and other add ons to put into your hot pot, canned soda and tea are included with the price plus self-serve ice cream for dessert which is $32.95 per head. You can choose spicy or non-spicy broth. You can ask for a bowl of rice too. You can order as many meat as you like, I love beef brisket and Angus beef. The servers are really nice and of course, the owners.
Update (August 23, 2025) Just visited Mongol House Hotpot in Temecula again and it’s still one of the best dining deals in town! For only $32.95 per person, you get an all-you-can-eat hotpot experience that’s absolutely worth it. The price includes unlimited order of premium proteins like Angus beef, beef brisket, lamb, pork belly, and chicken—always fresh and flavorful.
The soup base broth is outstanding—rich, aromatic, and customizable to your taste. You can pick your spice level: non-spicy, mild, medium, or spicy, and it really makes the hot pot experience unique.
On top of that, the self-serve buffet bar is fully stocked with fresh vegetables, noodles, quail eggs, seafood, scallops, shrimp, mussels, plus a variety of dipping sauces (the sesame sauce is my favorite!). And to top it off, dessert and drinks are included too—yes, ice cream, canned Arizona teas, and sodas are all unlimited.
It’s also super family-friendly—kids ages 4–12 get 50% off, which makes it an amazing spot for gatherings. The service is quick, the ingredients are fresh, and the value can’t be beat.
If you love AYCE personal hot pot near Murrieta, Menifee or Lake Elsinore, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely...
Read moreMy fiancé and I randomly discovered Mongol House after an evening of being indecisive but starving. We hopped in the car intending to head to Old Town, but while I was googling restaurants to see if anything was calling my name, I noticed Mongol House on Google Maps. It had great reviews, but not a ton & it turns out it’s only been open for three months!
We love trying new restaurants, so we immediately changed course to check it out. Google labels it as Asian Fusion, which is half true- the other half of the menu is HOT POT! As someone who recently moved to Temecula from Los Angeles, one of the biggest downfalls here has been the lack of food variety, especially no good hot pot options. But Mongol House absolutely changed that for me, it’s so delicious and 100% worth it!!
It’s all-you-can-eat hot pot with personal soup bowls, so you can share or get your own. We each got our own since I don’t eat seafood. There are tons of sauce options, plus plenty of veggies, noodles, and fish balls to add to your hot pot. We ordered all the meats except chicken, and every cut was high quality with excellent flavor.
We met the owner, and she was so kind, and the place was bright, with good vibes! Oh, and the all-you-can-eat hot pot also comes with a soda, and ice cream at the end!
Temecula finally has an amazing spot. Highly recommend...
