DROPPED FROM 3 TO 2 STARS BECAUSE I HAVE EMAILED THEM AS REQUESTED MULTIPLE TIMES AND IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME CUZ I NEVER GOT A RESPONSE
HORRIBLE ASST. MANAGER KALEIGHMy family and I have always loved this restaurant until Today that is. We arrived at 10:15am this morning to have breakfast and were informed that for a party of 7 it would be about 45-60min wait. Which was just fine with us seeing as it was father's day and we knew it would be busy. We informed them that we were still waiting on a few people so we didn't want to hold anyone else and didn't mind waiting an hour to be seated and that we would let them know when our whole party was there so that others could be accommodated. At this time we also had my disabled father in law who just got out of the hospital with us so for the 1st 30 minutes of the wait we sat in the car with him so that he would not have to deal with the enormous crowd outside. After 30 (10:45) minutes my husband went back in and let them know we were all there whenever they were ready for us. He was then informed that they had already called us and that we would have to be placed back on the waiting list for another 35-45 minutes. This made me furious as they said it was okay to let them know when the whole party was there and that they would seat others ahead of us until then. This is when the not so helpful Assitant manager Kaleigh decided to get into the mix. She began speaking to me like i was a child informing me of "how restaurants work" like it was my 1st time ever being on a waiting list. I informed her of the entire conversation that took place when we checked in and she told me "too bad you'll have to wait" and was a complete B*CH. No compassion seeing my father in law with tubes hanging out of him and all of us waiting patiently and not wanting to inconvi3nece others on this day by taking a table before our whole party was there. After back and forth with her and her refusing to do anything except telling us we could be seated after she sat and then cleared an 18 top because she was now just doing everything in her power to prove a point and make us wait as long as she possibly could I demanded to speak with the GM. The General Manager came out and I explained to her the situation. Thank God she actually appreciated the way we had gone about things and understood why. She then had us seated immediately. Which seemed ironic as Kaleigh stated there were no tables available. I am giving them 3 stars because of the GM but I would advise they get a new assistant manager as Kaleigh has no clue how to deal with the public appropriately and is going to cost them good business in the long run. Phew.... sorry so long. Rant over lol. Food is...
Read moreUpdate - I received a gift card to compensate me for my first experience here. We went back on a weekday about 9:00 a.m. and it was not overcrowded at all. The food was definitely better this time. My husband had juevos rancheros and said it was delicious. I had the churro French toast and it was also very good. And the servings were very large. I raised my rating from 2 stars to 5 for the food. I also raised my rating for all other categories. I will go back again, but probably on a weekday to avoid the crowds.
I think the cook was having a bad day. My granddaughter's churro French toast came without the cream cheese frosting and the whipped cream. My omelette with cheddar cheese and ham was thin and lukewarm. The cheese had already hardened, but the ham was still warm. The home fries are not like all other restaurant home fries with cubed potatoes, onions and peppers. These were thinly sliced potatoes that were greasy and barely cooked (almost all white with only a few brown cooked edges) and no seasoning. My wheat toast was completely burned and I had to ask for new toast. The service was lacking, although the server was friendly. Unfortunately, she only asked me what type of toast I wanted and never mentioned that I could have had a blueberry muffin or another option. I just discovered that while looking at their menu online tonight. The portions were large, but so were the prices. The service was slow. We won't...
Read moreMe and my wife come and eat breakfast on sundays when were free together. Never had a problem till today. I checked in to fron desk told them my name , they said 45 to 60 min wait I said ok. Of course she apologizes says o our mistake then makes us wait a bit longer then finally seats us. Lady apologies and ask me if u want complimentary drink . I said "No" so she asks my wife same question. My wife says yes! Coffee. So I said better then nothing for our time and mistake. So long story short. Check came and not 1 item was taken off charge. So all that and they couldn't even make it right somehow. If I wouldn't of went up 3 times and checked we still would be waiting. Good food will be back. Just...
