Mae Sai Thai Food — Restaurant in Temecula

Terrible service and they are liars, saying they did not have my phone number. They only had half the items in my order I specifically instructed them to call if there are any changes. I would OBVIOUSLY WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER, if you ONLY HAVE HALF OF WHAT I ORDERED!!! They were rude and hung up on me when i called them trying to cancel the order, and said, they made THEIR OWN DECISION to break protocol and send this food, istead of getting a hold of me. Now I am ending up with food I WONT EAT, I am contacting DOORDASH FOR A REFUND, and going to order from a place that has ALL OF MY ORDER, and not just HALF OF THE FOOD i ordered. Who does that? A MONEY HUNGRY THIEF. I will be getting a refund and if you dont i will drive there and give you this stank food and demand a refund in person, and you definitely dont want that. Think more carefully before you decide to rip someone off in town. Response to ir response. Lol i dof t threaten anyone. And there is no threat in this review either. Clearly you dont know what your talking about. Also I DID NOT GET FREE FOOD. The door dasher picked up the food...but you canceled the order while they were in route. So i got nothing at all. I thought i was going to get the delivery...because they were in route. It is harder to cancel once something os being delivered. But you could have cancelled this at any time. My ibstructions clearly indicate to call me if something is out. You broke protocol. Apologizing for your mistakes and offering a resolution would have been what any good restaurant would do. And i did call doordash and i called you. Your worker hung up on me. I received no food, but i did get my money back from door dash....

Really bummed because I used to love this place and have gone since I was a kid but the service I had tonight made me not want to ever come back. I ordered the yellow curry (the description of the meal on the menu does not mention mushrooms at all) plus, I have NEVER gotten yellow curry with mushroom in it. I’m severely allergic, otherwise it wouldn’t have been an issue when I received my yellow curry and it had mushroom in it. I clarified with our server if this was yellow curry since I was surprised it had mushroom in it and she said it was in fact yellow curry. I told her I didn’t realize it had mushrooms in it. And she said “well you should have clarified when you asked for no meat and extra vegetables instead” she had a very bad attitude so I told her “I’m sorry if I irritated you, I just had no idea it would have mushrooms in it” and she walked away with the curry to have it remade which I did appreciate, just not her terrible attitude. We honestly just felt very uncomfortable our whole time here so I definitely won’t be coming back, I’m really bummed since we spent $55 just on 2 meals… plus, once I got my remade curry it was the worst I’ve ever had. My fiancé was not impressed with his orange chicken either.

Answer to response: why would I tell you I was allergic to mushrooms before placing my order when the menu doesn’t say it has mushrooms in it? That doesn’t make any sense. Plus I’m really not upset about the mushrooms (I am a bit confused though) I am mostly upset about how we were treated and the terrible...

My family and I love Lau food so we had to try Mae Sai Thai in Temecula Ca. Not many Thai restaurants serve Lau and Mae Sai serves some Lau dishes . Lau is different from the Thai food we’ve had before. Lau has so much flavor in their dishes!🤗 I love the fried Basil that was in my dish. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of the dish, but it had ground pork with fried basil, some onion and green beans all in a savory sauce. Then they add a fried egg on top of the rice. It was so delicious.😋 My daughter had the Penang curry with chicken which she said was a little sweet for her. My hubby had the Larb chicken and he loved it!! He said it was one of the best he’s had! 🔥 We will definitely be back to try more dishes on the menu. I almost forgot! We also had some Thai tea too. Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of them but they were good too. The service was great! The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. So If you ever get the chance to try Lau or Thai food then I would suggest trying Mae Sai Thai in Temecula Ca. You just might end up...
