Pretty Funny Vintage — Local services in Town of Greenburgh

I was visiting from out of state so I wanted to grab a few souvenirs before leaving. I chose this place because they have their own parking lot and advertise souvenirs. I arrived just after 11AM, however, they weren't open. I saw other potential customers arrive and leave because they weren't open as noted on Google. While sitting in their parking lot searching on Google for other nearby stores I could go to for souvenirs, someone comes out and starts to open everything up though I did have to ask if that's what they were doing. I was disappointed in the overall selection of souvenirs although I did find the two items I really wanted. The magnets are very low quality. I felt they really missed the mark on the opportunity to offer locally crafted items that highlights this region and the legend of Sleepy Hollow. Super scummy people. I came on Sunday, 13 October and there were two younger girls working there.

They tried charging me $10 for a tiny extension chain that was that I was purchasing and they didn’t even tell me that they were charging me for, I mentioned I’m very sure that’s part of the necklace but OK.

I am also perturbed that I had to talk to them and get their attention because they just stared at me when I smiled and greeted them as I walked up to the cash register; I noticed that before, and after I was being “serviced”by them, they would say hello to pretty much every other customer. "Pretty Funny" is a most unique mix of artfully composed Vintage and "new" objects, plus" knock out " clothing. Westchester should be proud to count this shop a 'go to" stop for a positive shopping experience. I did for many, many years and now that I am stuck in the Interior of the country, which is devoid of the true meaning of the inventive genius, only to be found at "Pretty Funny" The staff is knowledgeable and so much fun to spend time with.
