I love this place. I've been there many times. The owner and the people that work there. All very friendly and super nice. I find that the quality of food is very good and that the food is fresh. I believe that the tuna and the salmon are from a frozen product. It's great variety of different toppings and stuff that you can create your own bowls. I found that they large bowl is really large and I have a fairly large appetite. So I stick with a small unless I want to take another meal home with me. Two things that I would like to see change would be a better selection of beverages. Everything seems to be sort of on the very sweet side. The other is that they don't recycle and they use throw away paper. French fry bowls to mix each person's water and then they throw them out. It seems very wasteful and not cost effective. If they use some stainless steel bowls s had enough of them That would be more echo friendly and less expensive for them. I look forward to the next time going there. And I wish them all...
Read morei was really hoping this was going to be a good experience, but no such luck. I recently had an accident, and I am on crutches with a boot. I have been stuck at home, really wanted to go out, and I was excited to get some Poke. I entered with my wife, and there was only one person ahead of us, ordering one item. We waited. Noone looked at us, said hello, or said, we will be right with you. After TEN minutes of noone acknowledging us, we walked out. How do staff not even bother to make eye contact? Highly disappointed, and thoroughly confused. We walked out, and again, noone looked up, noone cared. Oh, and they definitely knew we were there....ever try and be quiet walking on crutches while wearing a boot? Definitely not quiet. We will not return, and we will share our encounter with others. ...
Read morePokemoto Tarrytown was a delight. This was our first time ever in a Pokemoto, and it didn't disappoint. We had a Miso Bowl, and that was refreshing. Our favorite part about the Miso bowl was how light yet satisfying the combination of flavors and textures was. We also had a Hawaiian Bowl which was also satisfying. The salmon was tasty and the toppings on point. The spicy mayo, was fire, literally. We finished things off with Dole Whip and some Boba fruit teas. Prices of those are comparable to other parts of the northeast, but they sure met our expectations. Service was excellent. The ladies behind the counter were quite generous and patient in helping us decide what to get. They...
