I was so impressed by just how Lauren O’Donoghue, Manager of the Shoe and Handbag Department, handled my frustrations in the constant calls I made to Bloomingdale’s to try to reach the Men’s Department, to no avail, and then trying all other departments in hopes that SOMEONE would pick up. Finally someone in young woman’s department picked up gave a message for a sales person in the Men’s Department to reach out to me but no one had. Hours later I called and called and was being bounced around again and again trying to get someone to pick up in ANY DEPARTMENT. Finally someone did pick up in cosmetics. At this point I asked for a manager to contact me. It was Lauren O’Donoghue, who reached out to me in a timely manner, and Ms. Donoghue could not have been more understanding of my frustrations of trying to get someone to hear me and assist me. She was so polite and as professional as it gets...knowledgeable, pleasant and went above and beyond. (And by the way, Ms. ODonoghue doesn’t even manage the Men’s Department, an example of her loyalty and commitment in ensuring Bloomingdale’s excellence in service). Lauren helped clarify some confusing men’s shirt measurements (error in the type) and then assisted me and the order was accomplished via our phone conversation. She made me feel like, I as a costumer, was just as important whether shopping in the store or trying to make a phone purchase. She really restored my faith in Bloomingdale’s costumer service. I do quite a lot of shopping in Bloomingdale’s and will continue to remain a loyal customer largely due to the impeccable management, hence, Lauren O’Donoghue. Thanks again for all your assistance...
Read moreI placed an order in store for a Burberry Mark Horseferry Check belt in size 36 to be shipped to my house. When the item arrived it was very obvious it was a returned item, it was disheveled looking, clearly been used; the belt buckle was dinged/scratched up, missing the original Burberry tag. Instead it had a plastic tie with white tag saying "reticket item." (See image) Furthermore, it wasn't even the size 36 that I wanted, they had sent me a 34. I'm am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with my experience with Bloomingdales, I really had expected more from a big name store like this. The service was poor and the quality was NOT worth what I paid for. It was a returned and damaged item. Very disappointed. Now because of this, I need to waste my time and go return it. Needless to say, I won't be shopping here anymore. Taking my business to Neiman Marcus now.
RECENT update 7/13/19: I made a TERRIBLE MISTAKE of doing store pick at this location. I ordered a pair of Gucci shoes online in size 36. Went to the store to pick up and the box said 36 so I figured that’s what it was. I got home and unboxed it and found size 35 inside!!! What is going on?! Why are they screwing something f like this up? Now I’m left with a small shoe that won’t fit and I would need another trip all the way out here to either return or exchange if they even have this item. Customer service was of no help, they transferred me back to the Roosevelt field locations phone and the lady on the phone was of ZERO help and told me I needed to call back the number for online orders! What a damn NUISANCE!!! This is the last time i’m coming here ever!...
