I have been going to Claire’s since I was in high school... but since I had my daughter, i used to go there for her beautiful hair clips to put her cute pig tails up with flowers that waterfalled, gorgeous headbands that made her look like a princess to her first make up palette and her pocketbooks and diaries! Now her thing is sunglasses and the variety of trendy jewelry they carry! They even keep me up-to-date in my 40’s ... I LOVE IT HERE, I still feel like I’m in high school every time I walk-in! BUT I have to say the best part of walking into this store is GEORGIA, the store manager! She is a breath of fresh air. The way she treats her employees, the customers , EVERYONE she interacts with is with the utmost respect and she always carries a smile and is always laughing! My daughter will not go anywhere else! We have a Claire’s 7 minutes away from our house but she would rather drive the half hour to Georgia’s Claire’s bc she ONLY trusts her to do her second and third ear piercing! We have seen her interact with her employees even when she had to enforce something she did it in such a way that her employee walked away with the understanding and respect to her that she was in awe of the conversation! The higher ups of Claire’s corporate should really recognize her managerial skills and take notice that she is and should be in a higher position and should possibly train other managers on how to be like her! She can take Claire’s to a whole other level!!! Georgia you are one of the greats... and the best part is you don’t even know it!!! If you want a great buying experience EVERY TIME, go to Claire’s Roosevelt field... best store in the mall BY FAR and be sure to ask for Georgia... tell her,...
Read moreWent here with my daughter and spent almost $100. Got home didn’t realized on of the item was missing a piece. Went back the next day to exchange it (not even return it just exchange). Manager (Black lady) told me because of covid she can’t return. I stated I didn’t want a return I want to exchange it’s not my fault your reasoning items that missing pieces. But when I looked around there was no sign that states that and the receipt didn’t say anything as well. Staff didn’t inform me that when I bought items there. Then she decides to exchange it and tells me I have to pay a difference, I said for what? She said cause when I bought it it was on clearance. Right? But again it’s not my fault the time is missing a piece and I’m exchanging for THE SAME exact product. She states that I would have to bring all the items I bought to do even exchange (does that even make sense?) I told her I wouldn’t have a problem with that and is she really sure she wants me to bring everything back in because of covid. She looks at me like I just said something she didn’t mention already. Long story short she did exchange it but very unprofessional from the very beginning (only the manager) other employees are great and friendly. Never going back here again. If you are going to do it anyway why give your customers a hassle like you can clearly see I spent money here. I went to get my daughter’s ear pierced at the Claire’s at Roosevelt Field Mall.
We were victims of racial abuse, unprofessionalism, neglect, and endangerment by the manager and ear piercing personnel.
My 20yr.old daughter did not have ID. They said my ID was suffice, which seemed out of protocol. The salesperson said the piercing cost $80.00. When I went to pay it, they charged the price to $85.99 plus tax a total of $93.00. This was unprofessional giving us wrong prices. When the salesperson marked my daughter’s ears, I kept reiterating it seems too high on the ear, near the cartilage. She kept saying it’s fine. She did not listen to the customer. Unprofessionalism. She pierced my daughter’s ear and the earring was poking out because she hit the cartilage. She gasped and my daughter was in massive pain. She stopped and persisted to pierce my daughter’s 2nd ear. We said no. The manager came over. They didn’t clean my daughter’s ear. Didn’t apologize or bandage her bleeding ear piercing. The manager was rude. She said it’s a final sale yelling in our faces. I took pictures of them and said I will be reporting you both. I am a doctor. Then she refunded our money to cars. Said she it will take 3-5 business days.
