Let me start off on a positive and say the store has been renovated beautifully and I was anticipating a great shopping experience, this is what the 2 stars are for. I went in to return a few items and decided to tackle that before i shopped. I know working in customer service we tend to see a lot of questionable things, but thereās a way to handle situations. The girl at the register was very rude and unapproachable. I proceeded with taking out my items for return (all unworn and with tags.) She seemed to already have a chip on her shoulder. She picked up the first item (which I didnāt even try on) looked at me and asked me if I wore the clothes. I told her no and she looked at me and with an attitude asked me if Iām sure! I firmly said no and kept silent throughout the rest of the transaction. Iām not a confrontational person, but her behavior was completely unwarranted and very disrespectful. Her behavior turned me off and I decided not to buy anything from this location. As I was exiting the store I decided to speak to a manager because her behavior really bothered me. I addressed the situation with him and he was apologetic. I donāt know if he spoke to her about it, but I sure hope he did. I love express and have been a customer for years, but with employees like her I wouldnāt want to give them a penny...

Hence, I went to the express on Roosevelt field mall and ask the employee if he can take it off for me. I politely showed my receipt, the manager (I didnāt get her name however she seems like she has an Asian background) comes forth as tells me sheās unable to assist me because the store did not have the machine. I came home and did my research and notice that she lied. Those machines are universal, I also spotted the machine right behind the employee assisting me. The next day I wanted to exchange it for a different style and the cashier told me if I do an exchange, I will loose the reward and have to pay for a reward. I asked if thereās anything she can do about it because itās a 10$ difference I have to pay and itās a birthday reward so I donāt want to loose it. She asked the manager and the manager said thatās their policy and she canāt control the rewards system and then walked away.
