Spent about 15 minutes in the store this afternoon waiting to be attended. The employee working was alone, but was in the middle of helping a customer who was checking out at the register. After about 5 minutes of me looking around, she called out from across the room the prices of the items I was standing by. I asked her to reiterate something she said and she was seemingly frustrated that I didnāt know the difference between the different creams available for purchase. She continued chatting with the gentleman. I picked the products I wanted and walked up to the register, ready to be checked out. At this point, Iāve been in the store for about 10-12 minutes. The employee seemed to have no sense of urgency. She continued chatting with the man about his wife, the recent holiday, all while ever so slowly folding tissue papers, a gift box, and tissue paper roses. She was cutting ribbons, she was curling them, she was showing him products other than what he was already purchasing, she was even flirting. Finally I decided I was sick of waiting for her to wrap up with the first customer that I decided to leave. I set the products down and called out that Iād try coming back later when she wasnāt busy. She seemed eager to no longer have to attend to me and rudely yelled back āokay!ā I left without the 4 products I wanted to purchase, came back about 20 minutes later and she was STILL attending to that same gentleman. At that point I decided to shop somewhere else. Wonāt be visiting this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt usually write emails like this, but I feel itās important to recognize when someone goes above and beyond. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Joycie at Jo Malone in Roosevelt Field Mall and the experience left me genuinely moved.
From the moment we connected, Joycie displayed not only professionalism but also true care. She patiently walked me through my options despite the store being about to close, she pampered me with a Perrier and even went so far as to engrave my name on the bottle I selected. Funny enough I had just left Neiman Marcus and was interested in buying a fragrance there but was not impressed with their help.
In a world where customer service often feels rushed or impersonal, this interaction was refreshingly personalized and felt like a true luxury experience.
What stood out most was the sense of trust I felt, knowing I was in capable hands that actually cared. What may seem like a small and regular act on her end made a big difference for me and truly made my day! You now have a loyal customer and I even raved to my girlfriends and family that they must go see Joycie and find a fragrance at that Jo Malone store.
Please extend my gratitude to Joycie; her kindness and attention to detail deserves recognition. Thank you as well for fostering a culture where genuine care for customers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently went in to purchase one of my favorite scent which is Amber and Lavendar. I couldn't find it online so I thought to check the store. I was greeted quickly. However, that might have happened because I was the only person in the store and there three sales associates. The person that assisted me didn't ask me the size that I wanted, she just reached for the largest size. She then proceeded to tell me the price. I thought her tone was very condescending as if she thought I couldn't afford the product. I paid with an Amex card, yet I felt that she was acting a bit strange. After completing my purchase of the 100ml size cologne, she did not give or offer any samples of other scents. I was very disappointed. Needless to say. I will definitely chose another location for my...
