Worst. Experience. Ever. Got a pair of Doc Martins... sadly it was not for me, tried it on for a day and put them back into the box. Since I did not know where my receipt was, I looked up if the journeys locations reprint receipts for a non receipt return. Great! They do! I went to the location at roosevelt field mall, but then to my udder surprise... the sales associate was on her phone and it was 15 minutes after opening mind you. (Black hair, glasses and blue eyes, and generic black rose tee shirt) I politely requested a refund after just seeing that, and was ultimately shocked to hear that even while looking at my phone to show her she was wrong about the policy saying "oh, we only reprint receipts 20-30 minutes after the purchase" (which was total BS) Long story short, I went there a second time on the same day when the manager came in (3:34 pm i got there) and to my dismay, I still couldn't make a return... this time for a different reason, the shoes have to be new and unopened (apparently) and that is their policy on the receipt. I was very nice with these girls the whole time yet they showed no mercy in making me feel self conscious trying to get my money back, by being rude and wanting me to get out of their hair judging from their facial expressions. You have just lost a future customer and the blisters on my feet is your fault. Yall did not care after I spent...
Read moreI work in retail so I try to be nice and short with people since I know it’s probably been a long day. I went into the store and wasn’t met with a greeting at all but that didn’t matter to me since I had my headphones on so I understood. I went to look at their selection of doc martens but found it hard because their employees were all crowded by the registers. Mind you I was the only one in the store so it’s not like there was a line. Not to mention they didn’t move out of the way at all even when they saw me trying to see the selection. I gave up and just continued to walk around as I was looking for a specific pair I saw not that long ago. When I was finally asked if I needed help I explained to them my motive and they went into the back to check which I appreciated. Unfortunately the shoes were a size too big. I apologized and said it was just too big. The whole group of employees just stood there with an attitude on their face and didn’t say a single thing. I made my way out and once again expressed how grateful I was and they didn’t say anything and just continued to look at me. Think of a group of high school mean girls just judging you. That’s exactly how it felt. It made me feel uncomfortable and judged for literally no reason. A store should not make you feel that uncomfortable. Not the first time I’ve heard employees...
Read moreMy Daughter !!! She loves to shop at Journey, but right from the beginning she was disappointed that they didn’t have the shoes she wanted…it was ok because the girl that was helping said she could order it & she could pick it up later…that was the last time my daughter saw her money because even though the girl work there she place the wrong address for the store that she worked……my daughter checked it later & we called the manager who assured us the mistake would be corrected…..the shoes was still delivered to the wrong address & someone signed for it(probably one of her friends)the shoes were gone just that easy, but for us it was so hard to get…..customer service told us they would investigate & let us know about their finding…..nothing…. After calling again they told us a check would be issued….that’s what they will tell you ever time you call…..First your name then a brief hold to act like they are doing something then coming back to ask you for your address…..I’ve giving the same customer service my address over 29 times & they still don’t know it…..we’ll never shop there again….Hope this will help you guys don’t order anything if they don’t have it get it...
