UPDATE (June 30th, 2022): No presence of service in aiding people to mask up or patrons masking at the station, on the platforms, or on board (and remaining masked), nor any enforcement (i.e. Fines) to and fro.
It seems that the Welcome Back New York program isn't observed on this line since initial documentation and communication with MTA in Spring 2022 before large wave of Community Omicron variant in county and destinations on this line. Especially unsafe for the immunocompromised or those who go home to or work for those who are immunocompromised. And at the resuming of fares and new fare increase? 20+ years resident severely disappointed.

I applaud this station and I look forward to seeing just what's next each time I use the LIRR to travel to get to where I need to go. Pioneer the advancement of public transportation on...

Service to Grand Central Terminal starting in 2023. Will be great for people like me who work on the east side of Manhattan. However, train service at night could be better as I have to drive to the New Hyde Park station because the trains either come way too early or way too late during this time. Thank goodness the Great Neck monthly/weekly tickets are interchangeable with the New Hyde...
