Terracotta Gardens Inc — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

I stopped by Terracotta Gardens in Great Neck while I was in the neighborhood, hoping to quickly check for some anthuriums. I honestly thought I’d be in and out in a minute or two, assuming they might not have what I was looking for. But instead, I found myself staying much longer, simply wandering around and admiring everything. The shop is small, but every inch of it is thoughtfully curated. From wedding and event arrangements to home and office décor, vase displays, and live plants - there’s something for everyone. They also offer separate pots, saucers, and vases in different styles, making it easy to find that perfect piece to complement your space. I met the owner on her way out and Eduardo, one of the employees, both of whom were incredibly pleasant and welcoming. They answered all my questions with genuine patience and kindness (even the silly ones!). They did have anthuriums, but unfortunately only in colors I already had at home. The owner kindly offered to look for other varieties during her next trip to the farms, which I truly appreciated. Although the store is lovely, I’ll note two small things: parking can be a bit tricky since it’s located on a busy street with only limited paid spots right out front. Also, there’s a small step at the entrance - it would be great if they added a handrail or support to make access easier for everyone.
