They filled an extra medication with my name and Dr.name on it. I was only to pick up one med. But ended up paying for two. It also happened to be an anti seizure medication which after taking it in good faith, not knowing what it was or what it was for, I thought I was going to die. I felt so faint and sweaty. This was a Huge medication error. Next day my nurse came and told me what it was and not to take anymore of it. I called the pharmacy. The pharmacist explained what happened, that in the filling of prescriptions it got mislabeled and told me not to take anymore of it and apologized and refunded my money. Thank God I didn't die and no more damage was done than was done. This should never have happened. I have other health issues of which seizures is NOT one of them and I think it lowered my blood pressure to the point of being dangerously low which could have killed me. On the contrary, my blood pressure seems to run low and I have to take medication to elevate it. This may have counterdicted the effect of taking this wrong medication. This may have been what saved me. It is just unbelievable and inexcusable that this happened. I won't have my meds filled...
Read moreWent to get a loaf of sliced french bread from the bakery. One of the young ladies there told us none were ready as they were still cooling, and when I asked what time there would be one ready, she said within 10-15 minutes. We handled the rest of our shopping, returned and saw none were ready still. After another 5 minutes looking around we returned, seeing still none were ready, so politely asked if we could get one. Quickly she gave us a smushed loaf (which wasnt even slightly warm, so I doubt it was previously "cooling" as she explained).
Then we get home and its got a giant air pocket spanning nearly every slice, making it pretty much worthless for sandwiches.
I've worked in kitchens for years and know anyone slicing this loaf who's spent more than a week on the job would've tossed it on account of being unsellable. I feel in my mind she gave us this loaf specifically to spite us for asking her to do the bare minimum, i.e. her job.
Very dissappointed with the customer service we recieved that day. The only reason I'm not giving less stars is because my family has shopped here for years and never had any issues...
Read moreBrookshire’s has a monopoly in Tyler. They own stores under several different names but they are all still “Brookshire’s”. They gouge the community with their ridiculous prices. A few years ago they tried to severely scale back their reward points system without notifying customers and the backlash was strong. They tried to spin it with the line “You talked and we listened”. Their “See Red” marketing campaign just showed how overpriced all those items were to begin with. By the way-those process crept right back up afterwards. They also began disallowed alcohol to qualify for reward points. That allowed them to raise their alcohol prices to exorbitant levels to get the profit without giving the reward points. For example, the wine I enjoy costs $18.99 at Brookshire’s while it costs only $12.99 at Target and Kroger’s. Another example is their chicken breasts are $4.79/lb while Kroger’s has them for $3.50/lb. Thankfully I get to visit my daughter in College Station frequently and stock up on all the things that Brookshire’s doesn’t have and charges way too much for. Please stop taking advantage of your captive...
