Upon walking in, I immediately thought it'd be a home run because of their seemingly-huge selection and the fact that there were probably about 50 other girls bustling around looking at dresses. I didn't know about this store prior nor did anyone recommend this to me, so I didn't have any knowledge of what to expect. Everything went okay from picking them out to trying them on with my mom. I will say that helpers were very hard to find in times of need. The line for the changing room was a bit crazy and the space was tight due to all the people and all the gowns. One sales lady who I believe to be the manager was very helpful and assured me they'd be able to ship me a different size of a specific dress that I really liked. I narrowed it down to two dresses, and as it was coming to lunch time and I didn't want to take up a dressing room, I asked them to hold my dresses while I went to eat and get opinions from my prom date via text. Anyways I return to the store about an hour later with the intentions of buying a corset-style dress, which was $340, which I thought a great deal for the quality of the dress. I tried it on one last time and gave it to my mom to take to the register as I got changed to my regular clothes. Side note: I was taken to an area that wasn't even a dressing room, but literally a concrete walled, concrete floored holding room with not even a curtain but a rack of dresses shielding me from the view of the workers eating snacks and othere shoppers. The worker helping me was very nice, but actually went out the side door to smoke a cigarette while I was putting on my dress initially. It didn't bother me, but I could see how others would be offended by that in their prom dress buying experience. Anyways, when I arrived to the register, the same woman who said I looked great in my prom dress said that I should order it a size up because the corset didn't fit right, which wouldn't arrive until A WEEK BEFORE MY PROM. And I'd have to get it altered. How in God's name did she expect that to be possible? After telling her I'd have to take it, she then told me that I should consider dropping 10 pounds or so before prom. REALLY. I want to think that she had good intentions behind this comment but was it necessary to say when there was no other way to get a dress that'd fit me well on time? She had said before that the dress was perfect for me, and all along I was completely satisfied with my dress. Overall, a great selection. Horrid management and terrible service. If your expectations are high, go to a bridal shop or a boutique. Hopefully they will treat you better than...
Read moreDresses are way overpriced. You can get better dresses at like Ross's or whatever for like 20 bucks. Honestly after a while all of the dresses started looking the same. Don't even bother driving all this way just to look at the same exact dress in three different colors of not-fashionable-anymore-since-like-the-80s neon green, your-printer-is-broken-error-code blue, and holy-hell-this-is-the-deepest-paper-cut-i've-ever-seen red. BUT, even if you're into that, there's no way you should be determined to come all the way to the King of Prussia mall to this weirdly musty, dingy store filled with wrinkly plastic bags because there's actually nothing likeable about this store. Unless of course, you're a medical student and you'd like to study the effects of gangrene because walking in this store literally feels like you're having four of your limbs amputated with a rusty saw at the same time. The service is literally horrendous. Or should I say, nonexistent? I looked at the website. Beautiful dresses everywhere. I got there. None of those dresses were there, just really humongous ugly bits of fake satin in sizes 19-20. I finally found one that I liked but it was not in my size so I asked what apparently was a service lady but really looked like a booger in a t-shirt if there were any more in my size and she literally looked my way for 0.2 seconds, her face changed into somehow an even uglier version of her already ugly face and she simply dismissed me with a pert "NO" after she judged that I was not going to buy one of their stinky overpriced dresses. That's not the worst part. The booger who resembled Professor Umbridge then turned around to a poor naive family and asked them in a coyingly sweet voice if they would like assistance. HAH! How can a booger assist people? They don't even have arms! I also think that booger which resembled a human was the only person working there even though there were dozens of girls looking for dresses. I definitely would read every single one or two star review on google and believing them because they were ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. Dresses = 0/100. Service = -100/100. Do not come to this store. But the Sephora in KOP mall is lovely if...
Read moreI went here a while back to look at formal dresses for a college performance and was very disappointed with my experience. I walked in and began browsing options when a lady approached me and immediately asked why I wanted a dress. I told her I was looking for a dress for my college formal and her response was "That's strange - I've never heard of a college formal." The way she responded almost felt like she didn't believe me. I mentioned I was interested in ball gowns and she told me they didn't have many. My boyfriend and I proceeded to keep looking. I ended up finding one I really liked so I took it to the dressing room. A few minutes later the same lady came into the dressing room and started knocking on the door while I was changing into the dress. She was clearly irritated and kept insisting she help me because I wouldn't know how to tie the back. I was really bothered by that because it was awkward and relatively presumptuous. She then proceeded to let me know that I wasn't allowed to try on the dress because I didn't have an appointment. I had been there before with my mom for my high school formal/prom and had never made an appointment, so I found this a little surprising, not to mention there wasn't a single customer in the store at the time. I told her that I was sorry and that I didn't realize I needed an appointment. When I came out of the dressing room, she proceeded to let me know that I wasn't allowed to take any pictures in the dress unless I was buying the dress that day (even though I wasn't taking any pictures). I was then asked if I was buying the dress (she was still irritated and quite rude). I was a little taken back by that, so I just said I would need to think about it. I was so offended by the entire experience and of course, I didn't buy a dress. Overall, she was very condescending from the moment I walked in the door. We proceeded to leave and I've never been back since. This place is only concerned about sales - she assumed I wasn't buying anything and was rude from that point on. Very disappointed and will...
