This place is a treasure! It felt like we were in a museum of nature and science fused with an incredible art museum. Geodes, fossils and meteorites were fused together with beautiful metal work to create lamps, art pieces, tables or just really beautiful extraordinary paperweights. Mark took so much time to show us around and explain how exceptional and rare various items were, which made us feel like we had a private tour at a museum. Some of our favorites were the clutch of dinosaur eggs in a beautifully crafted metal nest that stands about waist high, or the geode crystal and wood lamp that changed colors dangling from the ceiling.

We walked away with a beautiful stone for our home, a cleaned ring, appreciation of the weight of a meteorite and so much new knowledge of some exceptional items we only wish we had space and money for. We could have stayed here for hours longer, as Mark was very welcoming, had endless stories or explanations and we never felt pressured to buy. This store is not only stunning, but the service I received was great as well. I was greeted upon entering by both employees who then offered their time, but at no point did I feel pressure to purchase anything. I ended up finding a gorgeous pair of sterling silver hoops shaped as the outline of a flower. The quality was fabulous and unlike the rest of my hoop earrings, these offer a secure fit that would be unlikely to end up being pulled out (I'm clumsy, so a secure clasp was very important to me). The store is filled with a variety of styles, metals, gemstones, jewels, colors and price ranges; all of which are sooo unique, stunning and likely not to be owned by another person. They also have a gorgeous display of geodes and large crystal pieces. Elijah and Anna helped me to try on the earrings, find out a price (PS they are having a sale) and wished me a happy birthday. The service was excellent and quality will never be a question at Lamina. I can't wait to wear the earrings and return for further purchases. I stopped in a few days ago and was greeted by Elizabeth. She asked what i was shopping for and I let her know I was on a hunt for the perfect necklace. She was super sweet, showed me different styles, mix and match pendants and even took the time to share specific details about all the stones and answer all my kids questions. Although, I didn’t make the purchase that day, Elizabeth handed me a card and let me know what days she would be in later that week. A few days later, I shopped around to other stores in both villages, and neither locations were as nice as going to Lamina . Other stores were more eager to make a quick sale , while Elizabeth took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. I headed straight back to Lamina While Elizabeth was working. Again, she was super sweet, and I purchased my necklace. My daughter liked the store and Elizabeth so much, she wants to go back again , just to talk with Elizabeth! I couldn’t be happier!...
