I think that the employee here at night wearing the beanie is racist against people who aren't black. I have dealt with him before, and couldn't believe he's still employed here. My husband and I (who are Middle Eastern and white) went up to the counter and placed our items there to purchase. He looks at us wordlessly then proceeds to FLICK SOMETHING OFF HIS NOSE then sighs and scans our items.
Be warned if you're white or Middle Eastern and planning to come to VA Beach. This isn't the first racist incident or even the second that we've dealt with here from black people. There are too many cruel people here in the 757 now. I returned in October after being away since 2017 and caught the short end of the stick from a fake friend. I slept in a recycling bin in November to avoid freezing to death.
I was happier in that bin than I am in any of these fancy hotels.
