I first visited Silver Mirror Facial Bar in DuPont Circle as part of a YelpDC event. I loved my facial soo much that I returned to that location with my cousin and I purchased memberships for us. Attempting to make an appointment at that location, there was no availability. I made appointments for us at this location. We were able to get afternoon appointments for the date we selected.
When that date rolled around, I was given a call about coming in earlier due to the parade that was supposed to be happening. (I won't mention who the parade was for). Once I mentioned we weren't locals, I was told whenever you get here we'll take you right back.
We were greeted upon arrival and offered water. It was a short wait for our esthetician and our facials soon began. The one thing that I love is that my esthetician was black (every time we visit | even at the other location). I felt very much at ease and she really knew what she was doing. My facial was sooo relaxing and my skin came out feeling so refreshed. She really listened to what I needed for my skin.
My cousin loved her facial and she looked really dewy and glowy afterwards. The young lady at the desk even gave her skincare product advice. We will definitely be back if DuPont Circle is not available.
This past visit, I brought my teenage children with me. This was their first professional facial experience. The estheticians that worked with them were super friendly and helpful at explaining what daily routine they should follow to take great care of their faces. We all came away loving the experience and our facials. They DEFINITELY would love to return with...

As a nominee from the community, I was fortunate enough to be selected to be a part of this beauty revolution, and it has truly changed the game for me. While I never had problematic skin, I always aspired for that extra radiant glow. Ever since I subscribed to Silver Mirror Facial Bar in December 2022, my skin has been radiating as bright as the sun. This place is truly a game changer when it comes to achieving and maintaining healthy, flawless skin. Read moreAs someone who gets facials monthly, I decided to get a monthly subscription service. Overall: If you're looking to relax and have a luxury facial experience, this is not it. If you just need a basic facial every month and don't care about the environment, I'd consider. However, Dupoint was a much better environment, I just live closer to this one.
Pros decent pricing good location Easy to book Maya! She is amazing. If you decide to book, book her.
Cons Staff at navy yard is a hit or miss. First person I had was singing in my ear as she was doing my facial. Once I found Maya, I refused to try anyone else. noise/not relaxing - there's no walls, just see through curtains sectioning off treatment beds. Thus it's very noisy and the staff doesn't even attempt to whisper. I gave this complaint to the regional manager who acted very dismissively, which is ultimately the reason I canceled. No apologies, just "well that's the nature of our business, you can book at dupoint or request a quiet room (which can't be done online). How about you tell your staff not to gossip about their weekend outside of the area someone is getting a treatment done? guess that was too much. Mandatory upselling - even when I put on my profile I don't want to be upsold, after every treatment they're leaving products on the counter. Sometimes they upsell...
