I went to this salon a few times when it first opened and had good experiences but my last few trips have been terrible. On my second to last visit I booked an appointment for a gel mani/regular pedi at 7:30 and was left waiting for over 30 minutes while they took walk-ins ahead of me. When I was finally seated in the pedicure chair the technician walked away, allowing the tub to overflow. She then spent the next few minutes mopping up the mess and further delaying the service. She then sped through my pedicure and manicure in less than 40 minutes. The paint was streaky, she left a lot of cuticle still on the nail, and she filed unevenly. While my nails were drying I had asked to speak to a manager about the bad service but they had already left for the day so the receptionist called the manager. The receptionist came back to me to apologize and rescheduled me for free re-do services the following week which I was happy about since my gel manicure peeled completely off within 2 days and the paint on my toes had already started chipping.
I returned the following week for a re-do gel mani/regular pedicure with the same tech. I arrived about 20 minutes early for my 5:30 appointment. There were a number of techs outside on the bench and sitting in pedicure chairs on their phones but I was told that I had to see the same tech for re-do services and she was currently with another client. Finally, at 6pm (30 minutes after my scheduled appt) the tech was available and I was taken back to the pedicure chair. At that time, the tech pulled the manager aside to have a conversation. The manager came to me and tried to tell me I wouldn't get the pedicure for free since they don't guarantee regular paint won't chip, they only guarantee for gel paint. I argued that I was promised a free re-do on the night of the service due to the long wait, rushed service, and poor quality. The manager argued with me that I didn't go straight to her with my complaint but I reminded her that she had already left for the day and the receptionist contacted her via phone. The manager then stated she remembered the phone call but said then that I would need to see a different tech. So after all of that waiting, I could have been seen almost an hour earlier by a different tech! This new tech did a better job. However, during the pedicure she gave me a salt scrub which I didn't think anything of. Later, as I was leaving, they told me I had to pay an extra $10 for the salt scrub!
I will never go back and I suggest others don't waste their time. It's unfortunate because there are very few nail salons in SW but I will have to go elsewhere since they clearly don't care about...

Once again the tech was super sweet but my service was so rushed and painful. I came in for a builder gel soak off to give my natural nails a break, even if it was suppose to build my nails I’m literally starting from scratch again. I paid $15 for this soak off and there’s so much of the gel left on my fingers (pictures attached). My nails are in pain and red. The drilling was done horribly hence the splits in my natural nails*. I’m pretty upset because everytime I’m there I see pretty good work when I look around but they give me whoever is available. I will never return to this place again, it’s not worth it imo.
Disclaimer: the reason I’m writing this review is because these are the honest reviews I look for when deciding! pictures included
Super cute spot and very convenient! I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure (with regular polish on toes) paid $77. Overall the experience felt very rushed although the tech was very sweet. I was really looking forward to a detailed manicure (hangnails, etc) but didn’t really get that (with either mani or pedi). After only a few hours my nails begin to chip pretty badly. Now 12 days later (gel usually last up to 2 weeks imo) basically every nail is chipped. Pretty embarrassing (hide my hangs in public lol)and upsetting that there’s no longevity but overall the tech was very sweet.
For my toes (service also felt rushed)I requested white and honestly the services look like something my little sister could’ve did. My big nail has also chipped less than a few hours later.
Prob won’t return for gel services. Very busy spot so I’m sure they have a great services in...
Read moreI went on Chrismas Eve to get my nails done. I normally do my nails myself but I decided to treat myself because why not it is Christmas. I called first and was told they weren't busy so I make my way up there. The nail technician was Muugii. She is looking at my nails, I tell her that the length was natural (no tips) and I had an acrylic overlay. I told her that I would like to make them a little shorter, keep the almond shape and get a manicure. She files the cat eye off and i thought we would soak my nails. She began to force the acrylic off with a tip. I asked her why we weren't soaking the acrylic off and she informed me that it "takes too long." She broke 2 of my nails and damaged another and we still had to soak the remaining acrylic off. Now at this point I should have just left, but my hands looked a hot mess and I didn't have time to fix this train wreck myself. I wanted chrome nails and she went to a few different techs to ask them what color to use as the base. I told her either black or white SNS for the base and then clear gel for the chrome. Muugii didn't listen and did a neutral sns base, a black gel base, then the clear and then the chrome. In this process of completely waisting my time and not listening to a word I said and to add more salt to the wound she also got black gel polish on one of my favorite sweatshirts. Then tried to charge me for the take off, the tips, and the service. I told her look you didn't soak off immediately, your technique broke 2 of my nails and damaged one, and you got gel polish on my sweatshirt. The chrome and polish was uneven and she missed the manicure part.
This salon has some really good technicians. I have gone there from time to time to treat myself...
