Smoothie King — Restaurant in Waxahachie

Most of the time I visit it is because I am in waxahachie for cheer practice. I’m the local college coach. I arrive around 8:40 because our practice ends around 8:15. The store closes at nine and most the time when I walk in to get one smoothie they are pretty much closed down and the teenagers are huffing and puffing when they’re just taking the one order. Coincidentally their machines are “down” Can’t take orders. I think it’s super convenient that they can’t take any orders and it’s close to being 9 PM and it’s around 840 right now. I worked at Starbucks for a Frappuccino at 9:55 at night is sucky however you chose to close at nine so I’m coming in before nine and I’m getting one thing. I’m not getting things. I’m not getting things. I’m getting one thing but I’m sure that machines aren’t and they don’t work because they’re under 23 and think that their lives are more important than their company doing anything and don’t realize that I actually go to smoothie king because I have very tight restrictions on food for healing purposes and smoothie king is the only thing open that I can actually get this late at night. So I’m not coming in so that I can be a jerk I’m coming in because that’s literally what I can eat...

The girl in there was so nice and knowledgable! I had no idea about anything regarding nutrition or protein and junk! I just knew I needed to stay awake for a 12hr shift and didn't have time for a sit down meal. She was able to make me a "lean" shake with whey protein, almonds, fiber and energy boosting powder that kept me alert and NOT JITTERY my entire 12 hr shift!!! I wasn't even hungry! I was satisfied after my shake and didn't even need to eat the rest of the day! Great place! Great customer service with VERY knowledgable staff! Give this hard-working girl a raise y'all! I was there on 7-21-19 at about 10:00. Owners, acknowledge your hardworking staff members! She didn't slow down for a minute and had a huge smile on her face the whole time! Walked in the door and immediately felt welcomed thanks to this girl. Such a sweetheart. We need more people like her...
