So this is the first time I've ever been to this particular place, and I have to echo all the reviews I've read here on this platform and say that I had a pleasant experience, and was treated well and had great conversation with the girl working there. But, when I got home and was checking out the lost THC vapes I acquired a few minutes earlier,out of curiosity I googled them to see how good of a deal I had gotten . I was asking if she had a certain vape but she didn't and showed me the lost THC vapes and said they are $80 each but we're on sale 2 for 1 which sounded great and I purchased them ,got home and started to do some research and found out that the vapes I bought were counterfeit the box was slightly altered and a couple of words altered and the fact that lost THC didn't even make this particular flavor was enough proof for me to know that either I or the store owner was duped. I have my receipt and plan to go to the store tomorrow and hopefully find out that there was a mistake of sorts or something to that effect because as I said I had a pleasant experience overall. Then when I looked to see the price on the non counterfeit vapes the ones I thought I was buying they were generally anywhere from $30 - $45 . And I paid $80 for two counterfeit ones that I got 2 for 1 that were watered down quite a bit. So I hope to come to an agreement of some kind when I go there today because I don't know the real story I just know that the vapes I purchased were fake and potentially very dangerous. I don't blame la la land at all it's the scum bags making and selling knock off vapes that I blame and I hope justice finds them someday behind bars . Wade Kolb it's Labor day now and I went back and tried to talk with someone about my knock off vapes that I bought ,there was a different girl working yesterday and I told her what I found out about the vapes I bought and she immediately got very defensive and told me she couldn't help me,turned and walked away . By her reaction I can only assume she knew the vapes were fraudulent because someone with integrity would want to do some research I would think but she had no interest in learning what I was telling her. I plan to go back and see if the girl I bought them from is there and try to come to some kind of agreement. I haven't asked them to refund any money so far I'm just surprised they didn't try to work with me and work something out .Here's the bottom line I was sold two fake vapes that were on sale two for one regularly $80 a piece. I found out they were fake ,also found out that the real non fake lost THC vapes run around $35 dollars a piece so I'm going back there today and try one more time to see if anyone there cares at all that I was sold fake vapes ( I'm still hanging on to the thought that she didn't know about the vapes being fake because I can't imagine anyone knowing this info ,turn around and sell them at 100 percent Mark up ) . I hope I have some luck today and find the very nice girl I bought them from and work something out. At the very least I hope to keep any more of the fake vapes being sold to anyone else because the research I did says knock offs can be harmful to the point of hospitalization or god forbid death. I would strongly encourage anyone planning to visit la la land to research the exact vapes before purchasing and be very cautious of any sales that seem too good to be true because you know as well as I do they normally are too good to be true , now I'm completely broke and have two knock off vapes I cant seem to return and can't use due to what I learned . I'm extremely disappointed but am hoping when I go there today something positive will occur if not I will continue to try and get the word out about the knock offs being sold at this store , we have a right to stand up and shout if fake products are being pedaled to us (knowingly). I'm confused by the reviews complementing them on their prices, because this is literally the most expensive vape shop I've ever visited, -for both nicotine and thc products. They were charging about 30-40% above retail market value on the two products I considered. And they didn't handle it gracefully when I verbally acknowledged this fact. I enjoy coming here often, the selection is amazing. The customer service on the other hand has been disturbing. There’s a man with a long dark ponytail that is rude with me every time I shop here and I never appreciate it.
