First off I'm usually pretty easy going and pretty simple to please when it comes to fast food/sit down restaurants. Me and my better half went to get some food from this particular IHOP atound 3am we work nights shifts so its our usual eating schedule unfortunately so there's not alot of options open at those kinds of hours so we decided on IHOP it was nice we were the only people eating at the time so as a good worker I would of imagined that we'd get stellar food. This was not the case, first off our waitress seem...off "tired" and not into serving anyone at this time so I was alright in alert for this dinning experience my fiancé ordered a simple ham, egg and cheese sandwich (no ham) she's not a fan of IHOP ham and I got the Philly cheesesteak the wait time was average or per usual but when we got our order she had un-melted cheese and NO EGG...strike one luckily I was there and im very calm about these types of things so we had our waitress come over and asked if we could get the egg thats supposed to be on the sandwich the waitress asked if she wanted the while sandwich remade we probably should have gone with that option but we just asked to have the egg made and we could put itbon the sandwich...she took her whole plate and sandwich which as a food worker in these time I'm well aware we don't take food from a customer and bring it back to the kitchen just how it has to be these days, so she brought the plate with the sandwich back and a second plate with the cooked egg...suffice to say we're both confused as to why the plate need to be taken back to the kitchen at all. Now my sandwich was just awful my big problem is the bun/roll it came on again as a food worker I can tell a toasted bun compared to a stale bun and this was definitely stale and hard...so that sucked...but I was too fueled by rage at this point to be bothered getting anything fixed, I just wanted the check and to leave ASAP so we go to the front register and she gives us our check....28$...28$ while dollars for what was probably the worst food I've eaten in a very long time anyway...the length of this review has been sitting on my mind for the last 2 days...I hated this whole experience our waitress our food and the price...do yourself a favor and if your eating at this time of night GO TO THE WAFFLE HOUSE cheaper and legitimately...
Read moreWe met family here Christmas evening to eat since we had to drive a long way to pick up a family member. I get it’s Christmas and things can be busy but after checking in for a party of 7 we waited over an hour for a table when we were told 15 minutes. We watched other parties of 8 to 10 people go before us that had just walked in the door. And then ask the hostess why we had not been seated, and when she asked me my name and looked at her chart, she had been realized she had skipped over several times and admitted it. Then she said, well, we didn’t have seating for your amount of people anyway, which was a lie because others had been seated with a lot more people. When we finally got seated and waited on, they took our drink order then our food order and next thing we know it’s two hours later and we are still waiting on food. We look around only to notice that no one in the restaurant has food and there’s no food coming out of the kitchen at all , our waitress had only been to our table once and we never heard from her again. No one was explaining why there was no food or asking if we were OK. None of the tables were being waited on and again there was no food coming out of the kitchen so after 2 1/2 hours we decided to leave , we let them know why we were leaving and asked for a check just for our drinks we didn’t even get an apology or an explanation again I get that it was Christmas, but someone should’ve been communicating and there should’ve been an apology for everything that had happened. On top of that there was lines of people waiting to come in to get seating that had been told their table would be ready in about 10 minutes and there were plenty of tables And they had been waiting for a long time. There were several tables that had been waiting for food for over three hours and since there was nowhere else to go to eat in town I imagine this is why they didn’t budge so quickly to get up and leave...
Read moreIf they had 0 stars I would give it. One of the worst restaurants I have been to. 1st bad experience I ordered my food with a couple items taken off but when the plate came it had everything on the food. it didn't taste good either. It was my third choice because they had no chicken for my first two orders. I had no drink and had to ask the guy cleaning tables behind us for a refill while the waitress sat at a table on her phone the whole time. 2nd time I went to the restaurant they messed up my food again as well. 3rd time I went they messed up my food didn't give me a refill then was rude about waiting on us. 4th time I was with a group of over 15 we had our food messed up and mixed up as well as after getting our food we had no one waiting on us so we had to get up to get a waiter to take care of or drinks and food mess ups. 5th time and probably the last time, we went at about 3:40 in the morning and the guy was rushing us to pay saying he had to get his orders done by 4am. It wouldn't have been an issue if he was nice about it, but while we were looking at the menu he continued to berate us until we decided what we wanted. As soon as the orders were in we had to pay for the food, which was not a big deal. Once we received our food it was finally made correctly for all of us which was great. As we were getting ready to leave the waiter came back to the table and told us that he didn't get his orders in on time so now he may not get paid that day, and he backhandedly said, "not that it is really any of your concern." The only table in the building other than us that was sat across from us had an issue with their food and sent it back. We heard him walk back into the kitchen and shouted at the kitchen that they want their food runny, which did not seem very professional and it seemed to make the guest who sent their food back as well as her friends at the...
