We visited your establishment around 7:45pm on a Sunday evening. We were greeted with a brief hello by two women at the host stand and our hostess, without a smile or greeting, slowly grabbed the rolls and led us to our table, only then asking us halfway down the aisle how our night was. Our waitress, Stella, was polite and took our drink and food orders. Our orders couldn’t have been more simple: a house salad + honey mustard with grilled chicken, and a house salad + ranch with a medium rare steak. Stella was kind enough to suggest a kid’s order of steak with the house salad as a side, and went on her way to place the order. Twelve minutes later, one of the gentlemen from the kitchen brought our chicken and steak each on a separate dish. No server followed close by with our salads. We flagged down a nearby waiter after eight minutes of waiting on our accompanying salads, and he said he’d go look for Stella. He returned apologetically, stating she was nowhere to be found, and offered to get our salads. We repeated our salad orders, and off he went. Five minutes later, a new waitress brought our salads in to-go boxes, seemingly confused (as were we!) she verified that we indeed would like our salads plated for dining in the restaurant along with our now nearly fifteen-minute old plates of protein. By now, my margarita was nearly consumed along with my chicken salad , and ten minutes into the meal Stella appeared, inquiring how things turned out. She was not phased by the reply “it all came out sideways, we waited forever on our salads but thanks to the help of others it’s fixed now” and instead inquired about a drink refill. When informed that we were not in need of a drink, she sulked away. We then proceeded to pay at the table kiosk, gave a one-star review, and were unfortunately unable to provide a review via kiosk or manager on-site. So here we are, leaving this review as we make our way down the road. We were overall very disappointed with the staff as a whole, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant floors under bussed tables. The food, however was delicious - we just wish it wouldn’t have been so confusing for the staff and that we didn’t have to wait so long for...
Read moreSubject: Unacceptable Dining Experience at Texas Roadhouse on 6/28/24 at around 4:30 -4:40pm
Dear Texas Roadhouse Management,
I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service and food quality at your establishment on June 28, 2024, at 4:30 PM. My family and I anticipated a pleasant dining experience, but were met with a series of unfortunate events that I feel compelled to bring to your attention.
Upon our visit, we encountered persistent issues with our order, which was inaccurately taken and served by our server, Kate. Despite her youthful demeanor, characterized by pigtails , her service was less than professional. Our food arrived undercooked, necessitating multiple returns to the kitchen. Moreover, Kate's demeanor towards us was noticeably disdainful, as evidenced by the scornful looks she cast our way, presumably unaware of their visibility to us.
The culmination of these service failures significantly marred our experience at your restaurant, a sentiment reflected in the unjustifiably high bill for what can only be described as a subpar meal and evening.
Regrettably, the ordeal did not conclude upon our departure. I have since been afflicted with symptoms indicative of food poisoning, including severe nausea, vomiting, and frequent visits to the restroom. These symptoms are a direct result of consuming the improperly prepared food that I initially had to return due to its undercooked state.
It is with regret that I must inform you that we will no longer patronize this location and will instead return to the Lake Worth branch, where we have consistently received exemplary service.
I trust that you will address these concerns with the seriousness they warrant, not only for the sake of my family's well-being but also for the future patrons of your restaurant.
Symptoms Experienced: Severe nausea Vomiting Frequent restroom visits
These symptoms have persisted since the night of June 28th and have significantly impacted my health and well-being. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly to prevent such incidents...
Read moreWhat a great establishment! Whatever you drive by this place it is absolutely packed in the parking lot. I figured it would be difficult to get a reservation. But, when you call the phone number you can put your name on the list and by the time you get there they have you see that really quick.
Again, when you walk inside it is jam-packed, wall to wall. Everybody's pretty cool though. The host staff is nice and seems like they know what they're doing. Like I said, we got seated right away. It was our first time there.
Although it was busy and we were seated in the bar, it was a great atmosphere. The entire place is pretty loud, but that's probably just because I'm getting old. But again, the entire atmosphere is very jovial.
Our waitress was great, took our drinks and made sure we knew what was on the menu. We started with drinks and an appetizer that complimented their incredible warm bread with some kind of apple cinnamon butter. Wow!
Three managers stopped by during our meal. That was pretty cool. I guess somebody at the host and let them know that it was our first time there. All of the managers were really nice. One of them even gave us an extra bag of peanuts with a coupon for a free appetizer the next time we are in, since it was our first time. They have a pretty good system going on over there. I was impressed.b
I had a salad, which is great. The main courses were pretty incredible as well. I like my steaks shard, medium rare. She wasn't sure exactly how to do that, but asked me if I wanted it Pittsburgh style. I had no idea what that was so I said yes. It was a good choice. The steak was great.
Besides we're good, not too large apportions but just enough. We ended up taking boxes to go, like I usually do. I try not to overindulge myself these days.
All in all it was a great first experience. You need to check this place out. And a few have already been before, go again....
