Borderline terrible service and experience...From the get go we didn't have anyone come take our order or even bring us a glass of water.
It took about 10 minutes before I had to get up and ask someone to come over to our table and take our order...After the fact the server poured us some warm water that supposedly had been sitting out and had no ice in it. So I ended up having to ask her to bring some fresh water with ice in it...lol...seriously??
The sushi itself was just ok...definitely not the best I've had although some of their choices seemed appealing. The rice wasn't fresh and the taste was just off...I ordered the Tokyo and the Dragon. Honestly, I enjoyed the appetizers much more than I did the sushi...In all the service was the worst part of the experience. I went at around 5pm on Tuesday with my girlfriend. There wasn't alot of people there but the servers acted like they weren't on the clock. The one girI I had to ask to service my table was on her phone the entire time I was there...Anytime I needed anything, I had to get up and ask someone for service, not once did anyone come over to ask me how was everything, or if I needed anything...The only thing I didnt have to get up for was the bill...that they brought without me having to ask...how ironic...
I'm glad to say I won't be coming back there anytime soon if it all...probably the worst sushi and the worst experience...
Read moreThe wife had been bugging me about trying Nori, so we did. We had a reservation and was seated immediately. The server was a little terse at first, then she got a lot more terse. The wife and I ordered, I used the Japanese words on the menu to order my meal, the wife just spoke in english. When we got our food, the wife one extra piece of sushi. She asked what was that, the server told her and the wife said she did not order that. The server said I read back to you what you ordered, and the wife told her you said in in Japanese, I was not clear what you were saying. Wife said fine I will keep it, the server got all huffy and took it back, started complaining about losing money on that piece. It cost $3.50, is that worth alienating customers? We got a new server and everything was great after that. The food was delicious, and we got a free roll. We liked the place, and we will definitely go back, we just do not want that...
Read moreMassive price difference between the website and in store, highly suspect. The Katsu entree is advertised on their site at $15 dollars, when I came in they charged me $17 and some change, then when I returned only a couple days later I’m charged over $20 for the same exact order. This is not some accidental mixup, as while I was awaiting my food another customer who was picking up a large takeout order actually confronted the staff over the price difference. He stated that he was being charged up to $4-$5 more PER ITEM. He showed the staff their online pricing and urged them to update the site, to which the staff hummed and hawed and acted like there was simply nothing to be done. This is highly suspect and hugely disappointing as the food at Nori is actually quite good. Hopefully they...
