Upon the few times I have shopped at this location (orchard), there was a varitey of product to select from, however, this stores associates were execrable each time I was there. I wanted to get store credit for a product I had purchased, I did not have my reciept with me but once had them look up my purchase to reprint a reciept for me and was also still in the time frame to do an exchange.
Two girls were up at the front desk, one on her PHONE, SITTING ON TOP OF THE COUNTER IN PLAIN SIGHT and the other was just standing there and did not acknowledgement of my existence.
I walked up and greeted them myself, explaining to them I had purchase my item and did not have my reciept with me but would like a store credit. The cashier stated "it was not possible for me to look the purchase up in the system since you did not have the receipt."
I explained to her I bought it several days ago along with the time and date I bought it, with the store credit card I had also used. She quickly stated "that with my 'jurisdiction' I would need my manager to operate this function and I would still be needing your reciept."
In my head, I thought to myself "I GET IT, I NEED MY RECIEPT BUT LISTEN TO ME,PLEASE!" I explained to her that I had an associate do this for me once before and was still able to retrieve the data with the information I had provided.
She gave a snarky look and toggled with the computer, then she stated "next time for reference, make sure you have your reciept." She then asked for my store credit card that I had used to make the purchase and swiped it. The other girl was still on her phone on the counter, trying to eavesdrop into the situation, not saying a word just watching. The cashier then had me fill out a form where in the past I did not have to do, so i filled it out being calm/collective and I then asked for a reciept for my return, the girl said she "needs to make a copy for store records" and I patiently waited while they made copies of the form I had just filled out since to their surprise had no copies left since what I grasp at this company they let their associates run a store to only gossip and be on their phones instead of working and assisting customers...
To the manager of this location, I would appriciate if you're employees would take their jobs seriously and be professional since I myself can not use my phone during the time I work and found this experience very repulsive. Felt like I was the problem when really your employees gave me a hard time as a customer. I know its just a consignment store but found that you're employees were rude.
Please look at the footage taken on 12/18/2018, 05:28:00 if you really value your customers. SO UNACCEPTABLE. VERY BAFFLED.

Read moreIf I could leave zero stars, I would. This specific store is filled it very unprofessional employees, and it is very disorganized. If I am going to be completely honest, this store also is a complete scam. Yesterday (09/19/2021), I came in with a laundry basket filled to the brim with clothing in season. I was given a 2 hour wait time for them to go through my clothes. The store was bustling, which I understood, so I left and did some shopping. By the time the two hours were up, I did not get a text or a call that they were. I called, and they said they were done with my clothes and would keep the store open to go over the amount of money I would get. When I got there, they had taken about six items, three of which still had tags on them ranging from 200-75 dollars, and bought less than a year ago. I was offered 35 dollars for a BRAND NEW prom dress and cocktail dress and several other items with tags still on them. Not only that, but when I was given the cash, they did not count and only gave me 30. Finally, when I went to pick up the rest of my clothes, they LOST them! They had put someone else's clothes in my laundry basket. When I asked where my clothes were, they said they didn't know. I asked if they could look in the back through the clothes that they had behind them. The two girls looked for about 30 seconds and said, we aren't sure what to do. I was livid at this point and asked for a manager. Of course, they were not in and said they would look at the cameras the next day! If they couldn't find my clothes, I had asked if I would be compensated for them, and she honestly said that it was unlikely! I called again, and customer service kept ending the call because they didn't know how to transfer to the main store. I finally got ahold of them, and they were able to find my clothes. Read moreI went on a Tuesday night to sell two hours before they closed and they seemed super understaffed. I had four shopper sized bags of clothes in pretty good condition, I waited at the buy counter for maybe 5 minutes while 3 different employees worked behind the counter and walked passed me without saying a word, I finally had to ask if they were still buying and the girl at the register had to talk to me while ringing because the other two ignored my question. Finally a different girl took my bags and told me it might be an hour.
So I left and got a text saying it was a longer wait and I could come back in the morning if I needed too. I went back ten minutes before closing just to double check if I needed to take my bags (the text didn’t clarify) I get there and ask, and the girl behind the register just says “well did you read the text we sent you?” And then she explained they look through clothes after closing the store.
So I came back the next day, same girl who looked through my clothes was there, she was still cranky, and at the end of it all they didn’t buy anything. And my clothes were stuffed in the bags.
I get working at a store that large with three employees can be overwhelming no matter how busy or slow, I’ve worked retail before and it’s frustrating, especially when you’re young. But you shouldn’t act like you can’t be bothered to help customers. Either these employees aren’t being paid enough, or they aren’t getting support from management, because they all had a sour attitude.
