Fig Linens and Home — Local services in Westport

This is the most horrendous customer service I have ever received. I first purchased a set of pillows that showed as available on their website. I was charged for them. Never received them. When I inquired, they said they are not available (even though they still show as available today). I had to CALL to be reimbursed for an order that was never shipped to me. I ordered another set of pillows that were indicated as machine washable. I washed them according to instructions and the color came off the pillows and they become hard. I inquired about what could be done and they would do NOTHING after several emails and phone calls! The owner I spoke to actually judged me on why I washed them in the first place! They are severely lacking customer service skills and common decency. Go elsewhere with your business - they don't deserve to be in business. UPDATE: The response below from the company is untrue. I always love to shop at this delightful store whenever visiting Westport. Needing to replace our aging Sferra sheets, the shop owner was extremely helpful, professional and friendly on the phone. (We are trying to stay as close to home as possible AND also trying to support local businesses). The website is easy to negotiate, but I needed some help locating the correct line and pattern. I am so happy to have found Fig Linens! I usually find shopping for home décor online stressful and impersonal. But I saw some things I liked on the Fig Linens site, so I took a chance. I didn’t regret it! The store owner was friendly and responsive when I had questions about my order, and she went out of her way to make sure that I’d be happy with it. She really cares!
