We stopped by on a Friday evening and had such a wonderful experience! This charming candy shop immediately drew us in with its inviting aroma and beautiful display cases brimming with sweet treats.

We were looking to pick up a few souvenir gifts, and Swiss Maid delivered in every way. The variety of fudge available was incredible; everything from classic chocolate and vanilla to more adventurous flavors like turtle, maple nut, and seasonal creations. It was almost impossible to choose, but in the best way! Each piece is clearly handcrafted with care, and the quality is obvious from the first bite.

What really made our visit stand out was the personable and friendly staff. We were heading out of town and wanted to get some fudge. Thankfully, they opened at 9am and it seemed we were their first customers of the day. We purchased two 1/2 lbs of the milk chocolate fudge with walnuts, caramels with pecans, taffy, peanut brittle, two pieces of toffee and two salted turtles. The service was great since we were the only two customers in the store. For $18.99 lb for fudge perhaps my expectations were too high. The fudge was packaged nicely but like other reviewers stated it seemed dry, old, and not sweet. The toffee was so hard I could even bite through it was afraid I’d break a tooth if I kept trying. The peanut brittle was the highlight of our purchases. I’d go back for the peanut brittle when I’m up that again.
