If I could give this store Zero stars I would! Bought a Cherry Blossom light up tree August 10th Wednesday. Only to realize the next day that there was one cherry blossom flower missing. I looked for the receipt and also noticed that I was charged a $ extra for the item. The light up tree was supposed to be $28.99 and was charged $29.99 instead. I told my husband that I want to go back to the store so that I could exchange it before we head back home. When I get in the store I was greeted by an employee and told her my concern about the extra charge and if I can exchange the item. She then called this old lady named CARRIE since she doesn’t know what to do regarding the extra charge. As she was about to go get me a new one in the supply room. CARRIE was telling me that she can do nothing about the missing flower. She also told me that what guarantee does it give her that I was not the one who lost the flower. “ Once the item leaves the store it’s your responsibility to whatever happens to it” - I told her that I did not check the flowers one by one before buying it, I just made sure if all the lights lights up. I also asked her that it could have fallen off after the plastic was put back on the lamp. She smirked and she SARCASTICALLY replied “ then you could have seen it”. I explained that I wasn’t planning on returning the item I just want to exchange it since in the receipt it doesn’t say You cannot exchange a damage or a missing part on the item. But she dismissed me and again said “How do we know it wasn’t damaged by you?” “How are we going to sell a damaged item back?” Her voice was so loud that the customers around us were staring at us. I felt accused and humiliated by this old lady. She made it sound that it was my fault why a flower was missing and it was solely my responsibility to check if all the flowers were complete. When in fact the store or the staff should also check if the items they are selling are complete and in good working condition. She should be working behind the wall and closed doors since she lacks empathy and has poor customer service skills. May God Bless her POOR OLD soul. BTW, Looked up the cherry blossom light up tree on Amazon and they sell it $10 less plus free returns! Piece of advice check Amazon first before buying an item from this store and save yourself from the hassle of dealing with a store associate...
Read moreThis place should not be allowed to hold a business license . As my family was shopping for souvenirs, we were approached by the so called owner. My daughter was accused of stealing a cheap worthless bracelet . I assured them it was not true. The so called and proud owner of a shady business kept insisting he had proof on video. I asked to see video but before we saw it, for them to tell me exactly what the item looked like color or even a description. They failed to provide such info. I still went along with them to watch the video to prove them wrong . At this point they were just assuming . I never doubted my daughter . My daughter would never ever do anything like that and I mean that . straight A student part of wrestling team softball for highschool. Now after showing me the video , they realized they couldn’t confirm any wrong doing . At that point I took the liberty to show them what was inside my daughters shopping bag and proved them there was Nothing of theirs . They apologized but at that point , it was to late and the damage ,embarrassment and humiliation was done . I everyone I know will never give this place a penny of my $. They were very ignorant so confident at first but they were wrong at the end . I wonder how many other people they incorrectly profile and embarrassed. Read moremy experience here was horrendous. the employees followed me around the store accusing me of stealing a pair of sunglasses that i told them multiple times, were bought from another store. then when my friend wanted to buy some sunglasses, they took them from her and hid them until time of her purchase. not even 4 minutes after she purchased them and left the store, they broke. the charm on them popped off and the lenses popped out. when we went back to ask for a refund the manager tried to accuse us of lying and swapping them out for a completely different item just trying to get money. she said the SUN GLASSES THAT GO ON YOUR FACE, we're dirty from finger print smudges. she then said the inside, yk where the lenses are that POPPED OUT were smudged too. overall saying that it was a "perfect and clean pair" before we left and now all of a sudden after going OUTSIDE AND PUTTING THEM ON HER FACE, they are dirty and not the same pair as before. we had to go in THREE times before the manager allowed us to get our money back. horrible experience and ofc the manager didn't have a name tag but she was an older woman around her 50's, white hair, black shirt, and piercings all over her ears. she was rude the entire visit, not only during the refund, and accused us of many things. i don't recommend going here ever. the products are poorly made and too expensive. not their worth at...
