The first time I walked into the Cabinets To Go, and met Nate, I thought he was one of the nicest people I've encountered in a showroom setting. Most of the sales people you come across are only interested in making a sale, more so than finding the right solution for you. We were starting our kitchen project from a blank slate intending to renovate the existing kitchen space. We had a house with multiple small first level rooms - and planned to remove walls in order to create an open concept kitchen and living room. It took us some time to decide how we wanted the space to function and we went through several concepts before arriving at the final plan. Nate was extremely helpful and patient as our vision evolved and his iterations of the design helped bring the project together. We gave him a rough idea of the future measurements and he started to come up with a design. He answered all our technical questions, was sensitive to our budget restraints and had a wealth of knowledge relating to spacing standards. For example we struggled with how large to make the island while keeping good flow and adequate spacing. It came out perfect! There were dozens of interactions with him and every single one of those was friendly. I enjoyed every single interaction with him. We placed an order and I began a supervise all the remodeling at my house that had to happen before the cabinets could be installed. It was a major remodel. We removed many walls all the flooring all the sheet rock from the ceiling, gutted our bathrooms, on both the first and second level of the home. The kitchen was going to be the centerpiece of the project. I hired dozens of subcontractors to work in this project and the only one that really stands out as being excellent six months after the project was completed is Nate and the cabinets to go installation team. I would recommend anyone purchasing cabinets from this company to use their installation teams. They know the product and professional and care about doing a great install. Nate is intelligent, passionate about the product of Cabinets To Go and knows about I'm thinking before I think it. I have owned multiple companies, consulted for fortune 500 companies all over the world and I've had hundreds of employees work for me over the years. If there is one person I would hire Without hesitation to run my own business, it would be Nate. If he ever had the ambition to work in the corporate offices at Cabinets To Go, I am confident that he would bring his passion and knowledge to bare on the entire company, and train each, and every store employee to embody his values. While his talents are extremely useful for the few stores and he travels between, I see him managing this National business someday. All I can say is this is the store to go if you want quick design help and delivery in affordable prices. I went to this store for my kitchen cabinetry and quartz countertop. Kim was our designer and she gave us valuable inputs which we didn’t know as first time home owners. I usually ask many questions as this is my first renovation experience and John & Kim have always been patient to answer everything. They were honest about quartz countertops that they are stain resistant but not stain proof. I liked a white quartz for our countertop but I was concerned about stains. John gladly let us to do some stain testing on their samples when I asked for, not sure how many stores would let you do it and those stains came off like a charm. We changed our countertop selection twice before having the template done and John & Kim were very helpful in doing that. We tried big box stores before going here and I was frustrated with how slow/unhelpful people were. I can’t appreciate John and Kim enough for their help in designing and selecting the right cabinet / countertop matching our wants. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone without thinking. About the cabinet delivery, I am happy with how they were delivered around the promised time. About the product quality, they look sturdy and modern. My husband and I were pleased with the customer service and design of our kitchen layout with the great help of Cedric and Nate. They were very professional and helpful throughout our kitchen process. Unfortunately we were not happy with the installation and installer John who seemed didn’t want to honor our ideas on the finish look of our top molding over the shaker cabinets. He was very negative on putting in a molding which was included in our design and materials. He also tried to discourage us from putting in floating shelves we really wanted. He suggested glass shelves. Not an option for heavy dishes but he thought so. Seemed like he just wasn’t interested in helping us. We also are left with a glaring space over our refrigerator which should have a blank piece as we requested and shawty drill work on inside screws of all the doors. Upon delivery of our cabinets 3 glass doors were missing and we had to keep calling and in 2 weeks my husband had to drive to the warehouse in Braintree to retrieve them so we could get them on site sooner so installers could come back in to replace them. Lots of waiting. Our cabinets look incomplete and we’re dissatisfied and disappointed in the results. That is not how we saw it and as it was explained at the Woburn store.
