I became a customer of Top Notch in May 2023 as my husband and I purchased a Speed Queen washer from them at that time. During the past couple of months, we have had a warranty issue with the washer. Top Notch techs were patient, kind, and timely in resolving this issue in accordance with the warranty.
Last week, my 18 year old double oven died. Brett came and addressed the problem, we decided to have the faulty part sent away for rebuilding as our oven unit was one we felt would merit fixing. We were told the piece would not be back until after the holidays and we were okay with that. A few days after that, our dishwasher wouldn't allow water to come in. Uh huh...Merry Christmas to us! Brett again came and determined the problem, returning the next day (yesterday) with the part to fix. As an unexpected surprise, the oven part had arrived yesterday way ahead of time. The dishwasher got fixed, then the oven work began, only to find a fault with the rebuilt part.
Technician Jordan just left. The owner, Brian, had found the error with the part and repaired that error and now I have a working double oven.
I cannot offer enough praise for this repair service. Each tech that I have dealt with in the past few months--Brett, David, Jordan, and owner Brian, along with secretary Jennifer have been exceptionally filled with integrity for the work and the people they service. Honestly, it would take a lot of persuading to make me remotely believe that owner Brian is not a genius in his craft of appliances.
As I have told all my friends and acquaintances, if you need appliance repair call this company. They are totally...
Read moreOur refrigerator malfunctioned once we lost power for 3+ days. Our chill drawer stopped working, the LED lights inside the fridge did not come on when the doors were opened and the water dispenser on the door was not working but would come on at different times of the day when there was no one trying to fill a glass. Top Notch was called and they found the issue very quickly (control board inside the chill drawer compartment was completely submerged in water). The Top Notch Tech (Aaron) attempted to fix it but the board and wire harness were corroded and not repairable. Aaron had to order new parts and reschedule for another visit. Aaron had to dissemble the entire refrigerator access area to replace the wire harness. This involved removing all doors, drawers, and door shelving. It took a while but Aaron was able to complete the work and all worked well once done. We then noticed a "pop" sound when the left side door was closing. Aaron began troubleshooting and thought the door spring may be bad and needing replacement. A spring was ordered and Aaron's boss (Brian) came out and replaced the spring. The "pop" noise was still prevalent so Brian ordered a new door bushing. Brian installed a new door bushing and that took care of the issue. The reason for this long dissertation is that Top Notch did their due diligence and wanted to make sure we were 100% satisfied, which we are. They did an outstanding job (albeit it took several visits) but they completed the work, were very professional and respected the CDC requirements for the pandemic. We will be using Top Notch for all our appliance repair...
Read moreI have no complaints about the service tech. He was polite & professional; however, he was a salesman who convinced me a new Speed Queen Washer would be a better alternative than to spend the money to repair my older machine. I was told that the Speed Queen was an excellent machine that is built like a “work horse” and the TR-7 comes with a 7 year warranty. I bought one & have had two service calls & my machine is not even 90 days old!! I was informed today that Top Notch Appliance repair has a 7 day return policy & they will give me a new machine, the TC-5, which I have now found out that the TC-5 is built more like the older, more dependable machines & the TR-7 now has most of the “kinks” worked out. The owner of Top Notch told me if I would pay a 30% restock fee plus another delivery/installation fee, they would replace my TR-7 for the TC-5. This 30% restock fee & delivery charges would be enough to buy a new Maytag!! It is my fault for not doing deep research on this company before buying the machine. But going to the laundry mat in 98 degree heat in Georgia was not ideal for me in my current health situation, so I made a poor purchase decision. I will never make this type of mistake again & want all older people to beware of the purchases you make. Make sure you are well aware of the return policies of every company with which you do business . It is a dog eat dog world & the saying “Buyer Beware” especially holds true in...
