I went to this location on a Sunday morning at 11:00 am. Not only was it a Sunday, but it was Mother’s Day!
Do you think that they would be prepared for a Sunday? Or a Mother’s Day? I would think so… But the answer to both was…THEY WERE NOT PREPARED!!
While I was standing there, waiting to pick up 4-donuts, they locked the doors! Mind you, their own sign reads, we close at 10 pm. So, they locked the doors to the inside 11-hours early!
Secondly, they had almost zero donuts!
Think about this…#1. It’s a Sunday morning. That is donut time for a lot of people. Great to grab after church. #2. It was Mother’s Day! Do you know how many people will grab a dozen donuts to take home to Mom and the family as they will go out for lunch or an early dinner and this just makes the morning so easy!
This place had zero preparedness!! And, being a franchise chain you would have thought differently! Also, this is NOT this locations first Sunday being open or their first Mother’s Day being open! I have to tell you, this place was a HUGE let down!!
Also, this was the most unfriendly place to be on Mother’s Day!! The attitude of the people working behind the counter was horrible! Not one single smile! Not a “thank you” for coming in! Not a single “I’m sorry that we are out of everything!” Nothing… In fact, the people working the counter acted like it was an absolute pain for them to be waiting on us at all!! And the woman who locked the door…wearing the “winter-type” hat…she acted like she hated being there and disliked the fact that we bothered to come in to her store! Never have I felt so unwelcome in a Krispy Kreme before…and I have eaten at them in multiple states! And never will I go back into this store!!
And, it wasn’t just us that were upset! People in general were very upset at the lack of donuts and then the locked doors!
Lastly, the place was downright dirty! The floors were so sticky that it was hard to walk, as you were literally having to forcibly pick your feet up (it was that sticky)! Every single table was dirty with napkins and food lying on them.
If Corporate had come in they would have fired everyone and started all over again with a new staff! Or at the very least,...
Read moreI placed two orders in advance. I called the restaurant a few days later to see if they could swap out regular assorted for specialty assorted for my first order. They said they were unable to do that because of their system. I said no worries that’s fine. I will keep my same order. The worker that I spoke with on the phone, then proceeded to cancel both of my orders. I called back and the manager answer the phone. I explain to her. What happened and she profusely apologized and offered me a discount. I thought that was nice, so I accepted her discount. Besides the portion of the order that I paid for I was supposed to be getting two of my boxes of donuts for free and she was going to leave a note with the morning manager to make sure I get everything in my order. The next morning, I got a notification from DoorDash that my delivery was on the way, so I called the driver to ask if he had all of my items, and he only had the items that I paid for. I’m not sure if the manager did not leave a note or if the morning manager didn’t read the note. Luckily, the door dasher was nice and went back to the restaurant to pick up the rest of the donuts.
Because my order was wrong yesterday. I called Krispy Kreme this morning five times and they did not answer the phone. I then contacted my door dasher who is able to let me speak with a manager. I asked the manager if I have all three boxes of donuts and she’s yelling like she’s lost her d*mn mind. The only reason I called is because my order was incomplete yesterday. Why would I assume that my order would be right today, if it was wrong yesterday? The audacity for the manager to be yelling at a customer because I called to make sure I had all the items in my order.
I have two meetings with 30 people. I know a lot of fast food workers didn’t finish high school or go to college, so I’ll help you with your calculations. One box of donuts has 12 in it and it is not enough to feed 30 people.
The original glazed donuts were also over cooked. The assorted...
Read moreI cannot believe what happened tonight. I actually am in shock and not sure WHY it actually happened in the first place.
I pulled up and asked how many chocolate iced with sprinkles there were. They told me and I asked for 3. I then ordered 3 strawberry iced with sprinkles. I pulled up to the window and the person read the order back to me as a way to confirm the order before taking my card (they sounded different than the person who actually took the order at the speaker).
After she confirmed the order and then took the payment, she ALSO opened the box to check and make sure the order was in there. Before handing me the box, she turned her head and looked off to the side as if she was looking at someone else. She gave a nod and then turned back to me and was like, “here ya go, sorry about that.”
I thought it was weird that she looked off to the side after opening the box, nodded her head at someone, and then said sorry about that after passing the box to me, but I did not want to be that person that thinks they did something to the order, so I just pulled off. In the end, it all seemed weird.
I got home and was ready to share the donuts with some of my friends and was surprised when there was only 1 of each of the ones I asked for while the rest were original.
Now, I am okay with original glazed, no problem at all. But she confirmed the order at the window and then even opened the box to check them, and still handed them to me like everything was fine. It’s like it was done on purpose, which is not cool. I guess it is my fault for not check the box, but I am not okay with someone going out of their way to give me the wrong order. It just did not make any sense at all.
I had someone in the car with me who saw it all happened and on the drive home, we both thought that they were acting weird the entire time, but we just tried not to think about it.
Anyway, just wanted to leave my experience here. So strange and not sure why...
