Viet Traditional Cuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Posting this out of indignation. My friends and I (4 in total) ordered some food, including Vietnamese cuisine and Western. One of the plates was a Croque Monsieur, which is a very distinct French. When the order came, it was a poorly made 3 half-sized grilled cheese-looking sandwich with approx. 10 fries. Not at all a Croque Monsieur, but it was also a terrible dish overall for a restaurant like this. We told the waiter (bless his heart, it was not his fault). The owner (we believe) came to our table and we explained. She said: "this is was a Croque Monsieur is on Vietnam" and started arguing with us until finally we were able to return the dish.

Not sure why it has 4,9 stars. The other dishes were not particularly great, just alright.

Quite possibly the worst meal we've had in Vietnam so far. We ordered the stir fried beef (VND 190k) and the stir fried fish in fish sauce (VND 95K). The beef was very tough and chewy, and lacked any kind of flavour. The fish sauce flavour was coming through the fish but the fish itself was full of bones. I could have forgiven that, but some parts of the fish was also cold (about the same temp as something that had been kept in the fridge). The veg that came with it was lukewarm. It seems like the food was not prepared fresh and was re-heated in the microwave. The portions were tiny, too. Very poor value and would definitely not recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our dinner at Viet Cuisine was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Their hospitality made us feel right at home and added so much to the overall experience.
