Paulaner Beerhouse — Restaurant in Yerevan

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible service! I rarely leave reviews unless it's for an exceptionally good product, food or service. But now I decided to do this to help the ownership to imptove their service, if they choose to do so; and I want to make the potential customers to know what they should expect to experience there. The food was good - no question about it. We tried their German sausage plate, the appetisers that we tried and some other dishes were delicious. The overall design and arrangements of the restayrant was beautiful. However, the service, in a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate negative 1 (-1). Terrible service! I would fire the manager (a woman) if I were the owner. The minute we walked in she was very UNWELCOMING. The waitress was confused, she messed up everything. Even after telling her to bring the beers and appetisers first. She brought the main course with salads first, then appetisers, then at that point we asked her to bring our beers, which she did. Worst of all she brought one of the soups at the end - after everything was served. Then when I explained her what we expected, her answer was "this is how we do it". Hinting that whatever you prefer or think is not important to us. Now you know. I wish they can take this seriousely and improve...

Unacceptable. We were walking on Cascade today, and my 5 year old daughter really wanted to go to the toilet, so we rushed to the nearest Paulaner restaurant. However, the receptionist, a woman, categorically refused to let us go to the toilet, saying that there is no toilet for “people from the street”. I with my daughter in my hand continued to look for the toilet and headed in its direction, but the administrator ran after me and prevented me from entering the toilet in every possible way. None of the staff intervened to stop the receptionist or help us. My daughter, terrified, started crying and shaking and refused to go into the restroom as she was very frightened. As a result, we were forced to leave the place, and my daughter experienced real stress and hysteria. This attitude to regular visitors, especially children, is absolutely unacceptable! We will never come back to this restaurant again and would not recommend...

Seemed good to start but the service was absolutely dreadful. There were about 8 guys stood around who wouldn’t come and serve us. Eventually a miserable man came over and begrudgingly took our order. An hour later the food hadn’t arrived so we asked about it. It immediately showed up but wasn’t hot and clearly had been left on the side to languish while the waiting staff sat about doing god knows what.

Annoyingly, the food tasted quite good, and we were so hungry we had to eat it. Complained to the staff about it and they couldn’t care less. Don’t go here; there’s a reason why there’s no queue and the places next door are full. Go to one of them instead. Wait in the queue and have a good...
