Adonis cafe & bar always has a line whenever I walk past and today I finally got to try their food. The food is excellent, we ordered the pancakes and chicken & waffles. Flavours were on point and coffee was good too. Serving sizes were pretty big compared to other cafes and price was very reasonable. Very nice atmosphere and ambience inside. Maybe the music is a bit loud because I couldn't really hear some conversations. Only taking 1 star off for customer service, some of the younger guys seemed inexperienced and not very attentive when my friend went up to order. Some of wait staff were just gathered around near the kitchen and chatting away even when the manager had called them over to serve a waiting customer. I suppose we could have ordered off the QR code on the table but it's sometimes easier to just order at the bar. But in saying that most other staff are very service orientated.

My daughter was desperate to go to Andonis Cafe after seeing posts on instagram. She has Autism, and brings dolls with her wherever she goes, so I was a bit reluctant as I knew it would be busy and noisy, and as an ‘Insta favourite’ destination, I was worried she might get stares and be made to feel uncomfortable. We decided to try it in a quiet Wednesday morning, and she loved it. Since then we make a regular date of it for Saturday mornings, and no matter how busy they are, the staff are always lovely and accommodating. If it’s cold outside, they’ll even bring blankets to keep us warm! The food is fantastic, and if I have any complaints at all it would be that the portions are huge - but the staff will supply a container to take home any leftovers, so as far as complaints go, it’s pretty minor. I’d highly recommend Andonis for quality of food, atmosphere and service.

During our visit to Andonis Cafe, we decided to explore the intriguingly named "Why'd the Chicken Cross the Road" dish. The presentation of the meal was undeniably enticing, with a beautiful arrangement that immediately captured our attention. However, we couldn't help but notice that the fried chicken seemed to have been overcooked, resulting in a somewhat disappointing experience. The chicken appeared dry and excessively hard, making it a bit challenging to enjoy the dish fully. On the other hand, we opted for the savory crepe with scrambled eggs and onions, and we were pleased with its visual appeal. The crepe was beautifully presented, exuding a touch of culinary artistry. However, when it came to the taste, we felt that it didn't quite match the expectations set by its appearance. While enjoyable, it lacked the flavor profile we had hoped for, leaving us with a sense of slight letdown. Despite these minor setbacks, our dining experience at Andonis Cafe wasn't entirely marred. We discovered a true winner in the form of the "Mango Madness Smoothie." Bursting with the tropical goodness of mangoes and pineapple juice, this refreshing beverage stole the show. Each sip was a delightful explosion of flavors that left us wanting more. Note: This review reflects my personal experience and opinion of Andonis Cafe & Bar, Fortitude Calley. Taste preferences may vary, and it is recommended to try a variety of dishes to get a comprehensive understanding of the cafe’s offerings

The food is not great here, I'm not sure why the reviews are so good. The coffee is fine, orange juice delicious, food looks lovely (very instagramable), but the food was really bland. We had the snitzel benedict and the spartan omelette. The hash browns were nice and the seasoning they used on those were great. The chicken snitzel, poached eggs, chips were all cooked perfectly, but there was no flavour! It may be as simple as not having used salt in the cooking? The omelette is really big and can easily be shared between 2 people. This sadly had no flavour either. The only thing that had any taste on this dish was the tomatoes. We were especially disappointed with this dish! This restaurant is a big place with lots of seating outside and a really nice garden setting. Inside seating is available but limited. I highly recommend booking a table as it's very popular. Parking is an issue in this area so allow 10 minutes on a weekend to find a park, or park closer towards new farm and walk. We unfortunately left really disappointed and underwhelmed by the food. We won't be going back and I dont recommend this place for the food. It's a shame considering the lovely setting and great staff. It's been a long time since we had such a disappointing dining experience.

This place was just down the street from where we stay and this place looks like the spot. We had to line up for table so we thought it must be good. The service was a bit wonky but that was okay. Food was good, neither outstanding or bad and they were presented well. I had the Pulled Pork Benedict and I was the lucky one to get mine not long after we ordered but I can’t say the same about my partner and our friend orders. My partner had the Chicken Crepe which came half an hour after mine came and at that time I have finished my Pulled Pork Benedict and our friend’s Big Breakfast came about 40 minutes after mine did. And looking around we weren’t the only ones having that same experience. Kitchen didn’t seem to be able to handle that much volume of orders. Feels like they were still getting their bearings down. Once lunch/brunch rush was over, food started coming out of the kitchen more regularly and they start to get their bearings back.

We came in for a late lunch, around 1.45pm. Service was not so good in regards to the particular manners of the waitress serving us, so that was disappointing considering they weren’t busy. So although the desserts looked great in the photos we opted to go somewhere else for coffee & dessert for our leisurely Sunday afternoon outing. Our meals were average both in taste and size. I had a vegan option with burnt corn fritters to replace the eggs, and served on a flat piece of white bread which isn’t vegan. My friends meal was good but a little serving compared to the pics with burnt corn fritters too. All and all a disappointing visit for our lunch. The actual presentation of the restaurant is beautiful and the table settings & decor very chic. They offer a dog menu too which is a cute touch in the precinct. Not sure if we will go back, we plan to visit the other location they have for our next visit.
