The food is average at this place, and I really want to give 0 star for the waitress. I called the restaurant to enquire if we could seat outside as we would like to bring two quiet puppies in a sealed baby pram before going there, and they said yes. However, when we arrived, they asked us to seat at a table which was unbelievably dusty and dirty, and extremely wobbly on the footpath. We weren’t happy about that, but we were Hungary and just wanted to get some food. After we sat down, we noticed a huge insect on the tree right next to the table. We were concerned that the insect may fall onto our food later, so we asked the waitress if she could do something, like moving the table to the side slightly, but she replied us ‘that’s a tree!!!’ Of course we know it was a tree, however is there any relevance between the insect that had gave your customers bad experience and “ this is a tree”? We were quite unsatisfied but still friendly asked whether we could move the table slight, just enough so the insect would not fall onto our food. The answer was blunt and emotionless “No, the table is near another restaurant”. In fact, the dirty and wobbly table is at least five meters away from the other restaurant. “ The table is near another restaurant “ is absolutely not an acceptable reply a waitress should tell her customers. She could at least allow us to move the table slightly as the other restaurant was 5 meters away. Instead, the waitress did nothing and just told the customers that there is nothing they can do, and if we don’t like it, we can get take away. In the end, we insisted to move the table, so they let us, but they did not help at all, and just stand around and watched. However, there is more. When we were ready to order, this same waitress with long black hair and an very unfriendly face, stopped another waitress on her way to us, and told her not to come to our table to take order. The conversation between the two waitresses was in Korean, obviously they didn’t think we could understand, but one of us did! The long black hair waitress used some very impolite words. THIS IS EXTREMELY RUDE!!! I did like the restaurant but the customer service by that specified waitress was very rude and heartless. If I see her there again, I will definitely not going back. So I suggest this particular waitress to have more training on customer service, before the restaurant’s reputation is...

Horrendous experience dining in on Sunday.

We arrived, sat down at a large table with big gaps in the middle as a group of four. Sat there for around 5 mins looking over the menu, staff were all extremely busy and didn’t bother come and check if we are ready to order, no plates were set etc.

A table RIGHT NEXT to us became available, and we decided to move over as the large table was not convenient for us to share anything or put anything in the middle.

A waitress RUSHED over, told us we ABSOLUTELY CANNOT SWITCH TABLES. I tried explain to her, the lady with dark hair named Hailey(?), that we literally JUST got here, have not ordered ANYTHING and we just want to sit here as a group of 4. She said no it’s “company policy” and we can just leave if we don’t comply. She cited two people sitting next to us that wanted the table and she declined and it wouldn’t be fair to those two people (but it’s a four-person table and we are a group of four). Not sure what the fuss is about as we just wanted a different table and nothing more. There were no arguments or anything, she just told us we can leave if we dared to sit at that table.

I went and tried to speak with another staff about it and asked if I can see the manager. She tried to call this hailey lady to come back and speak to me again which she never did despite me waiting around. Ended up just leaving and going to the Thai place across the street which is a very decent. Good customer service for a CHANGE.

Never had a experience like this IN MY LIFE where a staff did such a thing at a restaurant. If this is the norm... customers please be aware... if not, maybe do something about training your staff or get someone to supervise their activities. I honestly would not be leaving this review if I believe the restaurant is bad beyond repairs but this should be an easy fix.

I can respect your policy, waiting 50 mins for our food wasn’t a problem for us, I’ve been here a couple of times and the food is actually not bad. But PLEASE remember you are still a restaurant, I’m happy to take my business elsewhere that actually tries to accommodate their customers and treat them like customers. You might be a popular place to eat but won’t be for long with that demeaning attitude...

Came here with a large group of friends for dinner. The dishes I got to try/share were the Gorgonzola and Diavola pizza, the Korean bulgogi risotto and bolognese pasta. Service was alright, however despite it not being very busy, it took quite a bit of signalling to flag down a waiter to help turn the air con on in our area. Vibes were cozy and clean.

The Gorgonzola pizza was not my favourite, however my friend who ordered it was a big fan so I suppose that’s up to whether you enjoy blue cheese and honey. However the cheese was not as melted as it could be, as it had a bit of a solid bite to it, despite us eating it almost immediately from when we were served it.

The diavola pizza was our favourite, as the meats and garlic worked very well together, and the house made onion sauce was very creamy, flavourful and rich, and really enhanced the whole pizza. One critique is that both pizzas were very soft; a crispier undercarriage would’ve greatly improved the rather homogenous texture of the pizzas.

The bulgogi risotto was decent, with the marinated beef tasting quite nice and the sauce was creamy, however it felt slightly under salted and one-note. Additionally, the rice grains were a bit mushy and could’ve had a bit more bite to them.

The bolognese was very nice, not too sweet but also not too acidic, and the noodles had a good texture to them.

Overall, the portions are decent for the size, and I would come back here for the...

Usually with fusion food you hope that you get the best of both worlds; Falalalah does Korean-Italian fusion and I reckon they've hit the jackpot with this marriage of cuisines. I chose this venue for a group dinner (church camp committee debrief/thank you), and pre-ordered food to share. We had: * Korean bulgogi pizza, $18 - sweet soy marinated beef, bacon, onion, mushroom, capsicum, teriyaki sauce * prawn & sweet potato pizza, $18 - prawn, pineapple, sweet potato puree * Deutsche Welle pizza, $18 - sausage, salami, bacon, onion, mushroom, capsicum, honey mustard, picked cabbage * seafood oil pesto pasta, $19 - prawn, mussel, clam, squid, falalalah-made basil pesto, pepperoncini, rocket, garlic, onion * Korean style deep fried chicken, sweet chilli half + honey soy half, $16 each * side options for the fried chicken: garden salad $3, potato chips $3.50, sweet potato chips $4 Standouts for me were the bulgogi and the prawn & sweet potato pizzas. I also quite liked the chunky sweet potato chips. Definitely keen for more of these, though I also want to explore their pasta range a bit more. Hope to return soon with some other friends who are keen to visit 😋
