The Walrus Club — Restaurant in Brisbane City

It's cool, but not cool enough to charge $15.5 a pint for mass-produced tap beer. Also, their POS went down for ages, and no one could buy anything anyway. 3 bar staff for a packed venue that focuses on cocktails isn't great. I also question their perceived "rum bar" gimmick. I asked for a rum that doesn't have any sugar in it, and they recommended zacapa, which are notorious for dosing all their rums with sugar. It's not their fault I have a condition, but it is their responsibility to know whats in the drinks they serve. The music the bar was playing through the cheap tinny speakers was deafening and sounded horrible. I was going to go 1 star, but they get one extra star for the good live music and the staff...

Ohhh My, well isn't this place just wonderful!! The customer service and product knowledge gave us such faith in our purchase which brings me to a BIG call- Legit BEST spiced espresso martini ever! The decor was spot on I actually want to replicate it in my own home! Everything was so well put together which created such a great intimate atmosphere- Almost like you are in another era! I 100% will be going back!...

A nice venue but considering the prices surely they could afford to provide cocktail menus that aren’t covered in black mould?
