Coolangatta Chinese Restaurant and Takeaway — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Highly recommend this lovely Chinese restaurant/takeaway. Don’t judge a book by its cover, although this restaurant/takeaway doesn’t look flash from the outside, the hospitality and food surely make up for it. Also a really reasonable and great price for the amount of good quality food you’re getting.

We were very welcomed upon entering the shop and our food was bought out within 25 minutes of ordering.

We ordered Mongolian Beef, sweet and sour pork, satay chicken and spring rolls. The beef came out sizzling and was perfectly cooked, the beef not chewy at all, great amount of sauce too.

The pork was a favourite for my partner and I, again, perfectly cooked pork, great tasting, plenty of sauce and came with just the right amount of rice to happily share between 2 people.

The satay chicken is the only reason I haven’t rated this 5 stars, it’s was a little bland for my liking and didn’t have much of a taste, however the chicken was cooked great. Was just wanting more of a satay taste and thicker sauce.

If I could eat my weight in those spring rolls I would, that’s how yummy they were !!!!! Apart from that small issue, I’d highly recommend going here and trying it out. We’ll definitely be back...

Last night we ordered King Prawn Chow Mein, Chicken Ginger and crispy noodles, to take away. The service was very friendly and accommodating (eg would you like small or larger prawns?), and the chef brought the meals out to my husband with a smile. Both meals were delicious and ready to go within 10 minutes. Both meats were tender and flavoursome. The sauces/broths were full of flavour, and the range of veges included were fresh and delicious. We were very happy and will look forward to takeaway from there again next time we visit Coolangatta. Warm regards,...
