MOJO — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Tried this place last weekend for breakfast and won’t be returning again. I ordered a big breakfast and asked for 3 soft boiled eggs, out came 2 hard boiled eggs instead. As it took so long and I was hungry I went in and ordered another 3 “extra soft” boiled eggs which cost $11 as the waitress didn’t really seem interested in offering basic service. The 3 “extra soft “ boiled eggs came out on a small plate full of water and vinegar and I gave back the 2 over cooked eggs. Again the waitress took them totally disinterested like it was normal to return eggs.

I drained the water and vinegar into my empty water glass and ate my breakfast.

Pleased to find batch brew filter coffee.

The price was affordable, though I was told they were no longer using the single origin they had advertised. This is disappointing.

Instead the espresso blend, because there wasn't much difference. I enjoyed the experience and customer service but there was notable differences in the taste of an espresso blend to me.

Nice location, quiet and relaxing on the busy Griffith street. Chia pudding was nice and filling and the rest of the menu looked exciting. There is a good range of retail options as well, coffee beans and reusable cups.

I'll be back to try again as there isn't many local options for this...

Hidden Gem coolangatta. Our 2021 NYE holiday was spent in Coolangatta. The 4 of us explored many providores looking for great food. We feel compelled to leave feedback for this Gem (Rockleigh Cafe). Five stars. "Ness" says ive enjoyed this place better than any we have tried, it has a great energy.
