HAIL MARY FULL OF GRACE!
I’ve visited three times now and each experience has been wonderful. I’ve sat at the bar each time with a friend and we have absolutely loved the intimacy of the venue, the cool friendly staff, and watching the activity in the kitchen and the cocktail prowess at the bar. The music is often old school and fun and creates a perfect ambience. The burrata and the sourdough are the best things I have ever eaten. Every single time, it never disappoints! The tomatoes are bursting with flavour and the burrata just oozes goodness. YUM. The pastas are equally delicious and plenty to choose from - such delicate flavours. Serving size is perfect - customers visiting here should go full Italian and have three courses! Tiramisu is buonissimo!! Yum.
Lastly... the wine. Best selection in Coolangatta in my eyes, particularly if you like new wave wines. And the cocktails are also something else and made with so much love.
Thanks to all of the team here for creating a local venue that ticks all of the...
Read moreThe online booking process was very easy & the staff who served us - Italian waitress & young guy (sorry didn't get any names) were lovely, knowledgable and friendly. The menu for food & drink is limited but as I said to my hubby I'd rather have a small menu done well than an extensive menu that isn't. Unfortunately the food was was OK but not enough to justify the prices charged - prices are on the high side eg $7-9 for a slice of focaccia with a topping or $29 for a bowl of bolognese with prawn mince - vegetables & bread charged extra eg $13 for some brocollini. There's only one choice of dessert - tiramisu which was fine - it's my favourite. Despite being an early sitting our table of 6 could not order 2 desserts as we were informed there was only one left! Our bill came out at approx. $90 per head & the general consensus among all of us was that we were ok with having tried it bur none of us would come back - sorry but just...
Read moreBeing lovers of Italian food my wife and I were so pleased to discover this little gem in our little pocket of Cooly. The starters are brilliant, the Kingfish Crudo was truly something special. Mains were up there with the best Italian meals we have consumed anywhere in Australia. At times it is tough for us to decide on a restaurant as my wife is Vegan and I am not yet this menu was terrific for both of us. If you love traditional Gnocchi, this is the place for you. Pair that with a drinks menu full of class and wonderfully attentive staff and you are guaranteed to have a great experience. Wish I could rate this higher...
