I am extremely shocked and distressed by your message. I have never purchased coffee from your store, and I have no idea how you obtained my personal phone number — this raises serious concerns about my privacy and safety.
Your message comes across as threatening and intimidating. I feel personally harassed and unsafe receiving such accusations via text. I take this matter seriously and will be filing a formal complaint with eSafety regarding this behavior.
Frankly, I am concerned that this may not be the first time your business has used this kind of approach to intimidate customers. It is deeply disturbing and unacceptable. I am also requesting a formal apology from the individual involved.
Please do not contact me again. Whoever allegedly harassed your staff is your issue to resolve with the person involved — it has absolutely nothing to do with me. Your decision to contact me directly on my private number is inappropriate and invasive. Especially as we’ve never had any direct contact before. I want to make it very clear that my personal phone number was shared with you without my knowledge or consent by a former employee. This constitutes a serious breach of privacy under Australian law — especially in relation to the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), which set out clear rules regarding the use and disclosure of personal information.
Only one owner of this coffee shop — no one else. I have no idea what your employee has been telling you or how many lies she’s made up, but the misinformation she’s spreading is completely false and unacceptable. I suggest you verify the facts before making assumptions based on someone else’s fabricated stories.
Your message accusing me of malicious behaviour is both inappropriate and unfounded. I do not tolerate false accusations, and I will not hesitate to seek legal advice should this harassment continue.
I have never underpaid any staff member, and I have always ensured that paid annual leave entitlements are honored. Your public statement containing false accusations has now crossed a line — it is defamatory and damaging to my personal and professional reputation.
If you continue to harass me or spread false information, I will pursue legal action without further warning. I demand that you cease all contact immediately and remove any defamatory statements you or your team have made against me.
Please consider this a formal request to cease all further contact with me. Any further communication may be treated as harassment and handled...
Read moreDipcro Pastry truly has your back when it comes to top - tier pastries and matcha. During my recent six day stay in Surfers Paradise, I found myself returning four times - each visit with a growing order!
The addiction began with an iced matcha, but things escalated quickly when I tried the strawberry matcha - no regrets. The ceremonial grade matcha paired beautifully with the sweet, jam-like strawberry purée. It was balanced, refreshing, and deeply satisfying.
My daughters were especially taken by the croissant - crisp and flaky on the outside, airy and cloud - like on the inside. The cinnamon scroll was like a warm hug - perfectly spiced and sweet without being over the top. The pain au chocolat was as rich and indulgent as you'd hope, and paired perfectly with a cappuccino. And the jalapeño sausage roll? Hearty, meaty, and just the right level of heat.
A special shoutout to Izzy, who was not only helpful with drink recommendations but also genuinely warm and friendly. She always greeted me with a smile - thank you Izzy!
Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Just be warned: one visit may...
Read morePossibly the best pastries on the Gold Coast! Artisanal bakes - they look great and are also really delicious. Coffee is decent too. Recommended!
Note: there is seating, so you can dine in (but there aren’t that many seats).
I think the sweet options are a tiny bit better than the savoury - but the savouries are really delicious already!
Really enjoyed the “crookie” - I guess it’s a croissant/chocolate cookie. Next favourite was the Dipcro Lotus Biscoff. I’ve ribbon croissant was really pretty and had a surprisingly moist filling, enjoyable though I personally preferred the other two.
Sausage Crescent is great, the cheese sausage is moist and works great in the crispy pastry shell. Also enjoyed the Spinach Cheese Pain Suisse - well balanced taste, a smidge on the subtle side.
Coffee was good, and service was pleasant. If you’re in the Gold Coast and looking for baked goods - this is possibly your...
