Good Garden Cafe — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

The wife and I were perusing the myriad culinary options that Griffith Street presents after fiiiinally finding a spot to park. (Anyone who has visited Coolangatta, in summer, with a trailer, will understand what I’m talking about..) For those of you who don’t follow, in short, its a pain in the you-know-where🤭

Both the missus and I are picky eaters, generally opting for the milder side of things (unless its a Sizzling Szechuan Beef😉). The abundance of choice in Coolangatta was a bit overwhelming but by some stroke of luck we noticed the sandwich cart at ‘Fresh Garden’. Wow. Wow. Wow.

Funky fit-out, breezy alfresco tables and lovely staff, this is a really well put together little spot. We both ordered the salad sandwich on white which was from every conceivable angle, a 5 star affair. Fresh, chilled salad veg, grated where it needed to be, cheese, pickles and a delightful whole egg mayo to round it out. This salad sandwich is as good as it gets. Top points all across the board. If you love your MACHA, smoothies, juices, acai bowls or just super flavoursome cafe choices, then drop into the Good Garden Cafe. Super friendly Staff who are always welcoming. It’s so nice to get great service and you can almost count on it from this awesome little cafe. Really disappointed as this place had potential to be so much better. Firstly the tall good looking bloke with the accent that served me was rude. Secondly the wrap had actual dirt all through it. Literal dirt. He either added a spoon of dirt to the wrap from the garden, or just paid absolutely no attention and there was dirt in the lettuce.
