The Noodle House — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

New owners lost me , having frequented this place regularly without ever a problem until today . No consistency in serving sizes, in our party today two meals the same were ordered obviously cooked at the same time instead of equal portions one was half the size, not only had very little chicken but 1only cashew nut, $14.90 for pretty much a bowl of rice , not wanting to make a scene at the table I discretely pointed out when paying that it was not acceptable- response given- you should have returned it - seriously it was my responsibility to point out their obvious lack of attention, then didn't hesitate to charge me full price. No apologies just pass the buck. Bad service ......bad customer relations... lost a table of long standing customers and...

Take away last night was terribly disappointing. My order of Coconut Rice was tasteless and I struggled to find flavour. The Thai Green Chicken Curry had a mild sauce with a squiggle or two of chicken, few slithers of white onion together with a splash of colourful light on vegetables. As a local it was most disappointing. I enjoy take away at least a couple of times weekly. I prefer to use local restaurants of which there are a few good ones on the island. I attended here at midday on a Tuesday. The establishment was not very busy at the time and was able to easily get a seat and was attended to promptly.

Food took a little longer than expected, given the few people that were there. However it was very tasty and plentiful. I ordered the lunch meal which included Singapore noodles with prawns, 2 spring rolls and a drink.

Atmosphere rating was due to the smell coming from the grease trap. It...
