ORIGINAL POST Bad form Waxy's Irish Pub Surfers Paradise (Official). A large booking for over 60 people was made many months ago, and so therefore plenty of opportunity to staff your kitchen accordingly for the evening. I ordered a chicken parmigiana and it came out scorched black underneath with the ham and cheese covering to top burned section. I returned it and you apologised agreeing to replace it. The replacement was just as burnt! It was inedible. I had to ask for my money back and the lovely young lady was very agreeable and apologetic. The chef saw me again also and said he would cook It again but - REALLY? A schnitzel? You can’t cook a simple schnitzel? At least 3 others we saw come out were also black. Beyond...

Walking into Waxy's is like stepping into a cozy Irish embrace. The Irish wooden decor, warm dim lighting, and hearty laughter set the scene. But let's talk about the real star here: those $8 rump steaks. I mean, seriously? Talk about a deal that hits the spot. Cooked to perfection, juicy, and with that char-grilled flavor we all crave.
The pub's laid-back vibe makes it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day, sometimes you get really awesome live music playing. The staff? Always friendly, and they make sure you get everything you need! Leah, Adam and Geraldine have always been stars, having been a few times, they never cease to amaze me and their brilliant customer service!. Speaking of pints, their selection of brews is something any beer enthusiast would raise a glass to, sometimes they have a really great $10 special that will get you drinking!.

Read moreMy wife ordered the chicken wings, Baffalo. We have never had this type of serve before, when the food arrived we notice it had Tabasco hot sauce all over the wings. On the Menu it does not say that the baffalo comes with Tabasco hot sauce I politely returned it and explained that my wife could not have the hot sauce and that we did not know the baffalo wings came with hot Tabasco sauce I asked for a different serve with a non hot sauce, the female waiter consulted the manager and I was questioned why the change. Reluctantly the second serve arrived at our table. We both tried it and it was absolutely terrible the chicken had a bad smell so we left it on the plate and left, we both agreed it was the worst serve of food we have ever experienced. When we arrived home my wife noticed that the bill I had payed for the food was $29 which is what I was enetially charged when I payed with my card, but we noticed that a further charge of $6 was taken from our card without our permission or authority, which is for the change of chicken wings that is bad management and stealing money from customer's. We do not recommend eating at this...
