Uncle Chicken — Restaurant in Launceston

Tried Uncle Chicken for the first time. It only opens once a week and some friends told me they sold out quickly. Decided to order through phone and came to take it. The best fried chicken I ate so far and have a generous portion too for its price. The spicy one is not as spicy as I expected. It will be much better if the chicken is fully coated in the sauce. It's not the most authentic one, as my korean friend said, but I can say worth to try! Bought 4 packs and it's enought for 10 people. We eat it together with rice and the pinkish radish pickles! Can't wait for next...

Great food with reasonable service in a venue that seems a little underdone. I ordered the chicken and chips as takeaway and could not fault the food in any way. It was flavourful and fresh. The service was good enough, although a heads up that there was a half hour wait on orders would have been nice. Still the service was friendly. Food was amazing! We had the Korean friend chicken and the rice bowl. Chicken in both dishes was saucy, crispy and super tasty. 😋 Perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Great job with the taste. 👍 Highly recommend! ✅ What made this place so special is that the owners are very kind and welcoming. ✨💓
