Disorganised. In a tiny space multiple things going on once. Is this a bakery? A cafe? An ice creamery? A Greek restaurant?
They are selling Greek meats and salads on the right, selling coffee and baked good on the left, ice cream at the front. If 3 customers walk in at once, you gotta squeeze past each other.
The staff were either confused, or snappy.
Came in at 11am, asked for a croissant. This place opens at 10am, but I was told that they supposedly had "sold out" their croissants. The croissant container looked very clean considering the supposedly busy 1 hour of them frantically selling croissants.
Decided to take a muffin and small coffee instead - they have a $6 special advertised for that at the entrance, but the person at the checkout didn't remember the special until I reminded him of it.
Sat down to await my order. After some time, the owner (?)/ cook/ chef walked in my direction with a tray, and I asked whether what he had on the tray was my order. He snapped back: "COMING!!". I wasn't in a rush to get it, I just asked because he walked towards me. They weren't busy at all at that point. I'd hate to imagine the levels of mayhem & snappiness in this tiny place when they are busy!!
Unfortunately my child wanted to try their ice cream too. A serving for a child costs $4.50. The same person at the checkout charged me $5.50. Does he genuinely not know any prices at his workplace, or was this his second attempt to overcharge a customer?
I let him have the $1. Was happy to finally walk out of there. Will walk straight past it...
